The tour itenary included on the website: https://www.quechuasexpeditions.com/peru-amazon-puerto-maldonado-sandoval-lake-monkey-island-2d1n/ included ziplining, kayaking and Canopy and none of these were covered as part of the tour. I was included as part of group tour organized by "Green Jungle tours" rather and the tour-guide indicated that none of these activities were part of the tour. 1-star for misleading advertisement by Quechas Expeditions given the cost of the tour and would not recommend anyone to go for this.

An amazing abridged version of the Salkantay trek. We had a wonderful time with both our guides, Ronaldo and Ascensio, who were incredibly knowledgeable and had done our trek many times. We felt very safe and well taken care of the whole time, and they made sure we had vegetarian and pescatarian meals available. The drivers were professional, the chef was fantastic and so talented. The accommodations, especially the sky dome, were comfortable and everything we could have asked for. The first hike we did was to Laguna Humantay, simply breathtaking. The trek to the Salkantay pass was the next day, and the guides made sure we went at a comfortable pace and didn’t rush us at all. They also supplied Coca tea and leaves for us as needed to help with altitude. The last day visiting Machu Picchu was incredible, and our guide took us to the Sun Gate first before handing us off to another guide who was an expert on Machu Picchu and spoke excellent English. They made sure every step was taken care of, and ensured we had a wonderful experience during the 3-day trip. We would do it again with Quechas in a heartbeat!

Loved the entire trekking experience! Our guide, Reynaldo, was very professional, informative, and fun. It sounds like they usually do smallish groups (ours was 4) and we found it to be a really good value! Would recommend to anyone looking to do a trek including Machu Picchu.

Our four days with Quechua Expeditions on the Salkantay Trek were simply unforgettable! Under the guidance of Fernando, we explored breathtaking landscapes and experienced some of the most beautiful places in the Andes. From the majestic Salkantay Trail to the ruins of Llactapata, each stage was a new discovery. The support from Fernando, Chef Julian, and Horse Master Angél was outstanding and contributed significantly to our well-being. Although the adventure wasn't cheap, every minute and every altitude meter was worth the price. We highly recommend Quechua Expeditions and extend our heartfelt thanks to Fernando and the team for this unforgettable experience.
