I had the most amazing experience during my 10-hour sound healing training with Megan. From the moment the training began, her energy felt grounding, safe, and so genuine. She is such a gifted teacher—knowledgeable, intuitive, and deeply passionate about sound healing. Megan created a beautiful space for learning, growth, and connection, and I walked away feeling inspired, confident, and so grateful. This experience truly exceeded my expectations and reaffirmed my love for sound healing. I couldn’t recommend learning from Megan enough.

I left on this trip purely missing Costa Rica, and wanting to find a way back to the jungle. It was a 3 week before departure whim decision to go, and I had not even experienced a single sound bath in my life at that time. I figured I can go to the jungle, learn a new skill that I may or may not like, and maybe meet a few people along the way… Sometimes things that are bigger than ourselves take us down rabbit holes, that align us with the next part of our path, whether we know it or not. I left on a whimsy, I returned home transformed. I didn’t know everything I was searching for within myself and my business would be found in a yoga shala with 12 strangers at 6 am singing over a cup of coffee, or sipping on warm, local cacao, or tears from the women’s circle. I didn’t know that sound healing would re-ignite a passion and flame in my creativity and profession. I didn’t know I would be making friendships that will last the rest of this lifetime and probably the ones to come. I didn’t know it would be more than education, but a lifestyle retreat holding a mirror to my internal world. I didn’t know the reconnection I’d create within myself. I didn’t know…. Until I was there. I guess all this to say… maybe you don’t have a full out reason, maybe you’re drawn to the idea without context, without specifics…. Maybe there’s a reason you’re meant to go that’s bigger than you realize. Or, maybe you know exactly why you want to go, and what you want to learn, and how you want to grow… Both ways this is the space for you. If you hear the call, answer it with a plane ticket and a booking to go.

The trip took place in the beautiful Costa Rica, for a sound healing training with Megan Hoeffner. First I would like to recognize the trainer and facilitator, Megan. Not only is she a brand new mom ( which you can tell suits her very well) and a very successful business woman, she is extremely easy to be around and truly cares about each person that attends her workshops. Megan put together an incredible retreat with a plethora of knowledge and space to grow, all while caring for her beautiful baby. She didn't miss a beat! I was extremely impressed with her and the way she cared about her newest recruits ;) I went to the training with learning on my mind, basically thinking I will be in an intensive workshop for hours and leave with a certificate in sound healing, end of story. Well was I in for a surprise, I never imagined connecting so much to all the woman around me in this training and to growing so much in such a short period of time and I believe its all because of Megan. She set the stage for insightful journal entries, scientific knowledge of sound healing, a ton of hands on instrument time and deep life questions that made us look within and release anything that no longer served us and find a sense of confidence within ourselves, that will stick with me for life. As cliche as that sounds it's really the truth. This training was in a beautiful retreat center and the food was delicious. So fresh and well thought out, every meal was out of this world! The accommodations were so peaceful and my room was amazing. The whole trip was fantastic and so fulfilling from start to finish. Megan planned a few outings that were fabulous. I was able to experience the beach, a waterfall hike and some fun time in the market, all while learning so much about sound and the instruments associated with this training. I came home a with such a different perspective on so many things, especially my relationships and my career. With this training, in Costa Rica, I am confident in introducing sound healing to my massage clients and to incorporate it into my yoga practice. I would definitely give this a 10 star if it was available. If you are considering this sound training, look no further, your life will explode with such amazing insights, knowledge and friendships that will rock your world! I went into this trip simply excited to see Costa Rica & offer my love of yoga to the group. I left feeling more like myself than I ever have before. I left with connections that will last me a lifetime.
