Drive along the winding, picturesque ocean road that connects Viña del Mar and Concón, the northern section of the Valparaíso Bay and Chile's most popular beach destination.

Starting at your hotel in Valparaíso or Viña del Mar, this 6-hour private guided trip covers the gorgeous Valparaíso Bay area, to the north of Valparaíso proper, including Viña del Mar and Concón.

Our first stop, the Portales Fish Market is way more than a place where local residents buy the fishermen's catch of the day, it's a natural spectacle of sea lions, seagulls, and Chilean pelicans fighting for their fair share of fish.  We then get ourselves into Viña del Mar's Belle Époque at the Quinta Vergara Park, before visiting an authentic moai from Easter Island.

Upon leaving downtown Viña del Mar, we head north for some 10 miles (16 kilometers) up to the Mouth of the Aconcagua River, an urban wetland home to several local as well as migratory birds.  After a stop at La Boca Beach, we drive south along the winding coastal road that connects Concón to Viña del Mar to visit the Roca Oceánica Natural Sanctuary, which offers amazing views to Valparaíso and the Concón Dunes.

Back in Viña del Mar, we drive and walk by the city's gorgeous seashore to visit Vergara Pier, Marina Avenue (decorated with fine mansions), and the Viña del Mar Floral Clock.  We end at your hotel in Valparaíso or Viña del Mar, or at any convenient place within both cities.

Departure time: We recommend you to start between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning. You're free to pick a different time, though.
