Start your day with an early ride in our open-air surf truck through the jungle to La Lancha, one of the most beautiful and less crowded surf spots near Sayulita. Pick the option that fits you below.
How it works
Meet at our shop in Sayulita, pick your board, and head out together.
The trip lasts about 4 hours. Lessons are 90 minutes of that time.
La Lancha is our main spot. Depending on conditions, we may go to Burros, Stinky’s or El Anclote instead.
We confirm the exact departure time (between 7:00 and 8:00 AM) 24 hours before your trip.
Minimum 4 people
This trip runs for groups of 4 or more booking together.
Fewer than 4? Join our daily 2:00 PM trip instead, or WhatsApp us to check if another morning group is going.
Payment
$500 MXN deposit per person today to confirm your spot.
The balance is paid in full at least 48 hours before departure, online or at our shop.
Bookings with an unpaid balance at the 48-hour mark are cancelled and deposits are forfeited.

Marea Surf School

Marea Surf School started in 2015 with an umbrella, four surfboards and a love for sharing the waves. Today we’re a small surf school in Sayulita with our own shop on Calle Pelícanos and a crew of local instructors who know every break around.
We keep groups small, with a maximum of 4 surfers per instructor, so you get real coaching instead of just a push into the whitewater. You can learn right in town at Sayulita Beach, or ride our open-top truck to La Lancha, a jungle beach near Punta de Mita with fewer crowds.
First-timers, families and surfers who want to level up are all welcome. Come surf with us, and the ocean decides the rest.
