If you want to start learning to surf and are in Sayulita - go for Marea Surf School, we had 2 kids 16 and 14 who had never been on a board standing up and taking waves after 30 minutes, the smile on their face are forever in our memories! Marea are very easy to deal with and very accommodating with our needs, the instructor Omar had a fantastic persona and our kids immediately felt confident with him! Best of all was that you felt welcome from start and there were no 'we are cool surfer' attitude which some other schools show in Sayulita. Would I come back - hell yeah!

Awesome time with Marea surf school. Our instructor Omar is a goat. We went out on one if the most hectic days of the year due to a big swell in the area. He helped us navigate it, and my son and I were up on our first try. Would highly recommend booking with these guys

We booked this surf lesson for 13 year-old daughter. The Jeep ride to the beach was fantastic. Our Guide shared some fun local facts. He took the time to explain a lot of Safety information upfront before getting into the water. My daughter had a blast and felt safe the entire time. I highly recommend booking Marea Surf School is visiting the Puerto Vallarta area. The town of Sayulita is very cool. We wish we had more time to hang out and enjoy a meal and the vibe.

We had so much fun as a group of 9 with Marea Surf Scool! The instructors were amazing-should out to Gabriel, Omar, and William for being so awesome with our group! Everyone caught waves and had a blast. Highly recommend.
