Surf Trip to La Lancha · 4 hours · Daily 2:00 PM
Ride our open-air surf truck through the jungle to La Lancha, near Punta de Mita, one of the most beautiful and less crowded surf spots close to Sayulita. Choose a surf lesson, board rental, or just come along for the beach
How it works
Meet at our shop in Sayulita, pick your board, and head out together.
The trip lasts about 4 hours. Lessons are 90 minutes of that time.
La Lancha is our main spot. Depending on conditions, we may go to Burros, Stinky’s or El Anclote instead.
Payment
$500 MXN deposit per person today to confirm your spot.
Balance paid in cash (MXN) at our shop on the day of your trip.
Good to know
If conditions require a different departure time, we’ll tell you at least 24 hours ahead.
Prefer mornings? Ask about our 7:00 AM trip (minimum 4 surfers).

Marea Surf School started in 2015 with an umbrella, four surfboards and a love for sharing the waves. Today we’re a small surf school in Sayulita with our own shop on Calle Pelícanos and a crew of local instructors who know every break around.
We keep groups small, with a maximum of 4 surfers per instructor, so you get real coaching instead of just a push into the whitewater. You can learn right in town at Sayulita Beach, or ride our open-top truck to La Lancha, a jungle beach near Punta de Mita with fewer crowds.
First-timers, families and surfers who want to level up are all welcome. Come surf with us, and the ocean decides the rest.
