8:00 AM: Meeting with the Brothers Expeditions team
At Brother's Expeditions Agency, located at 7th North Avenue No. 38 in Antigua Guatemala. (Punctuality is very important)

9:30 AM: Arrival at "La Soledad"
Arrival at the village "La Soledad," where we will explain the details of the ascent to Acatenango Volcano.

2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Arrival at the campsite
Upon arrival at the campsite, the guide will assign you a cabin where you will spend the night and where you can leave your belongings.

3:30 AM: Ascent to the summit of Acatenango Volcano to watch the Sunrise
We prepare to ascend to the summit of Acatenango Volcano, with a maximum duration of 2 hours.

Services are not confirmed without proof of payment. To cancel any of our services, you must do so 3 days before the service date. If you cancel outside of this time, no refunds will be issued. If you cancel before the scheduled time, you will receive a refund minus 20% for administrative expenses.

Climb to Acatenango Volcano

Was an incredible experience. Not too hard if you just focus, go slow and steady. Our guides Angell and Rojelio were great and were encouraging and patient with grouos diversity of levels. Our campsite was right in front of volcano. Awesomeness

The guides were attentive to the group during the tours, the food was good, however, the availability of blankets inside the cabins could be improved

La logística y guías bien, pero el recorrido no cumple lo que uno espera del Lago Atitlán. El transporte fue muy bueno: puntual, amable y bien organizado. Los guías también fueron atentos y respetuosos. Lo negativo es el diseño del tour: en general te llevan de cooperativa en cooperativa (miel, textiles, tiendas), más enfocado en compras que en disfrutar miradores y paisajes. En nuestro caso no nos llevaron a un buen punto para apreciar las vistas/volcanes, y tuve que separarme del grupo y moverme por mi cuenta (lancha hacia San Marcos La Laguna) para realmente disfrutar el lago y las vistas. Si buscas un tour más “escénico” y de miradores, este no me pareció que valga el costo.
