Rental items are subject to availability, and porter services are optional; these can be arranged directly with the individual porter before beginning the ascent.

Day 1

Please note that this itinerary may be subject to change based on various factors (weather conditions, group capacity, etc.). The safety of the group is our top priority.

7:00 AM: Meet with the Brothers Expeditions team at the Brothers Expeditions office, located at 7.ª Avenida Norte No. 38 in Antigua Guatemala. (Punctuality is very important.)

9:00 AM: Arrival in "Miratenango"

9:20 AM: Start of the hike

2:30 PM: Arrival at the campsite. Upon arrival, your guide will assign you a cabin where you will spend the night and leave your belongings.

4:30 PM: Optional additional hike to Volcán de Fuego for those who wish to participate (requires an additional payment of Q300 or $40 in cash, payable to the guide). BASE CAMP: 3,500 meters.

8:00 PM: Return to the campsite

8:30 PM: Dinner at the campsite
