Take your diving skills to the next level with our Advanced Open Water Diver Course. Building on the skills you learned in the Adventure Diver course, this course provides additional training and experience in specialized diving activities. It’s designed to enhance your confidence and competence in the water.
Course Description:
The Advanced Open Water Diver Course includes five dives, allowing you to expand your skills and experience in new areas of diving. You’ll complete two required dives: Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. You can then choose three additional adventure dives to tailor the course to your interests. This course is an excellent way to explore new dive sites and activities while becoming a more skilled and confident diver.

We can pick you up from any pier between the Hotel Casa del Mar and the hotels to the south (*we do not pick up divers from the Iberostar, due to high pier fees)

Given our location in Cozumel and the airport in Cancun, guests are responsible for their own transfer arrangements.

Advanced Open Water Dive
Advanced Open Water Diver Course
Day 1: Required Dives
- Morning: Meet at Cozumel Marine World Dive Center for briefing and preparation.
- Midday: Complete the Deep Dive, learning techniques and safety considerations for deep diving.
- Afternoon: Conduct the Underwater Navigation dive, honing your skills in using a compass and natural references.
Day 2: Elective Adventure Dives 1 & 2 - Morning: Briefing and preparation for the first two elective dives.
- Midday: Complete two elective dives of your choice, exploring different aspects of diving.
- Afternoon: Review and debriefing with your instructor.
Day 3: Elective Adventure Dive 3 - Morning: Briefing and preparation for the final elective dive.
- Midday: Complete the last elective dive, further enhancing your diving skills.
- Afternoon: Return to the dive center for debriefing and certification completion.
