The trip was great! Easy to book, great central location (Under the Sea in Potrero) for the pool session and meet up.  Sebastian was an excellent dive master and he made my first diving experience safe and fun! 

Discover Scuba Diving Experience

Diving with Uncharted and Marco was an awesome experience, it exceeded my expectations.  Marco explained the dive plan very well and made me feel quite comfortable.  Visibility was better then expected for February and we we able to see lots of new sighting, white tips, numerous octopuses and a sea horse.  The number of fish and other creatures was incredible.   I can't wait to dive with Marco again.  Personalized and exceptional diving experience!!!!

Had a great day diving with Marco at Catalina island. He is a really nice guy and he is very easy to communicate with. I didn't have transportation to the dive shop, so Marco was nice enough to pick me up. It was just the two of us diving together from a shared dive boat, with about 10 other divers. Everyone on the boat had a good attitude and we all had a lot of fun. From the boat we saw turtles and dolphins. Diving we saw eagle rays, white tip sharks, big schools of fish. Water is a bit chilly, so suit up well. Thanks Marco, I look forward to diving with you again when I am back in the area.

My brother and I went for a private dive with Fernando (Marco’s very good friend and fellow dive guide).  The experience was amazing!  We saw sea turtles, sharks, sting rays, and beautiful schools of fish.  Fernando gave excellent safety guidance and hooked us up with a great tour :)

I can not say enough kind words about Marco. He was such a great scuba diving instructor! He was very patient with me and my wife and honestly he had such a positive attitude the whole time, it was very refreshing. What's crazy is that me and my wife were planning on snorkeling and then came across the opportunity to scuba dive last minute. I was nervous at first but it ended up being my favorite thing we did our entire trip!! I would HIGHLY recommend scuba diving in playa flamingo with Marco!

2 Discovery dives at Catalina Islands - Saturday 26th of July

First, Marco did a great job assisting my nephew who did a discovery dive prior to us going out. The Catalina islands did not disappoint. We enjoyed both of our dives very much, so much indeed that we went out to Bat Islands with Marco and had a great 3-tank day. It really was enjoyable and we saw tons of bull sharks, and a group of 6 Eagle Rays swimming together. Not a ton of coral grows in this region but the macro life is quite good. Definitely worth a dive! 

2 Divers with transport to Catalina Islands August 6th 2025

Insanely cool dives (2 bull shark dives, 1 reef wall) at the Bat Islands. Marco is the coolest, most relatable dive master I’ve ever worked with on my 20+ excursions around the globe. The first day (2 tanks at the Catalina Islands) he was with my teenage son for his discovery dives and the second day he was with me and two family members for the shark dives. He organized a last minute, long distance dive bc my bro-in-law wanted to check this epic dive off his list. I’m so glad I joined them, despite the loooong boat ride out to the Islas Murciélagos. Marco is a highly experienced, family-man and an incredible diver. I felt safe every second, despite the scary nature of the dives on that second day. I mean the first dive is literally called “gran susto” which translates to the “big scare.” Recommend 100%.
