My son and I completed our PADI Open Water Diver certification with Marco from Uncharted Diving in Costa Rica this past weekend, and the experience was outstanding. Marco is not only an excellent instructor—knowledgeable, patient, and safety-focused—but also a genuinely great person who made the entire course enjoyable and confidence-building. The diving around the Catalina Islands was absolutely incredible, with amazing marine life and beautiful underwater scenery. Marco's professionalism and passion for diving made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend Marco and Uncharted Diving to anyone looking to learn to dive or explore some of Costa Rica's best dive sites.

This was such an amazing dive experience! My husband and I are certified, but we had our kids do their first discovery dive here and we tagged along and it was so much fun. Marco was our dive instructor and he was so good with the kids, he taught them with patience and they had a seamless transition from the pool to the ocean. It’s safe to say they are definitely hooked. I would highly recommend them!

We had a wonderful dive with Marco at the Catalina Islands. Communication was good before the meet up. Marco had all of our equipment ready and we got to the boat quickly. He went over general dive expectation and made sure we all used the same hand signals. Marco pointed out lots of marine life and led at a comfortable pace. I would highly recommend a dive day with him.

The guides were fantastic! Very hands on, enthusiastic, fun and caring. The gear was in great shape and the dive itself was really enjoyable. We will return!

Marco and his fellow guide Samuel were great scuba diving instructors. Very patient with my group of 6, all of whom were beginners ranging from 13 to 17 years old, who completed a PADI Open Water certification course. They were friendly, knowledgable, and made the experience very enjoyable. I could not recommend them highly enough!
