The trip was exceptional! We appreciate the effort made to ensure everything was perfect - and it was. From the entry into the country until we left, all the accommodations were top notch, the selected tour and guide was great, informative and enjoyable, and the selected concerts were phenomenal as well as the chosen restaurants and food. Thank you for your time, patience, knowledge. You obviously listened and considered our interests as clients while also introducing us to the Canadian culture.

Excellent trip. Could not have been more enjoyable. Well planned from beginning until end. Great accommodations, food and special side trips. Perfect amount of people in the group. Easy to create lasting memories.

Bottom line, our trip was fabulous. Your recommendation to add the Atacama desert region added another dimension and many more wonderful sights and memories that made the extra plane time worthwhile. Explora accommodations especially in Atacama and to a somewhat lesser extent in Patagonia were outstanding. The Australia ship exploring the fiords was very comfortable and more than we ever expected (although we were a little concerned about this part of the trip because we didn't know what to expect). We met lots of fellow travelers who were very interesting and the sights in Atacama (especially the geysers) and in Patagonia were amazing and the weather on the ship was kind and gentle enough that we were able to move forward with all explorations including and especially Cape Horn. Thank you for arranging such a seamless experience. It met all of our expectations!

Patrick is very knowledgeable about both plants and birds and very patient in answering questions. Shannon is a great tour leader, always giving her group an enjoyable time, and the Guatemala guide Erick was also very good. The lodge at Las Lagunas was particularly pleasant. I’d go on another trip with Patrick and Shannon in a heartbeat.

We did so much in a relatively short trip! From snorkeling to waterfall rappelling and to whale watching and wildlife spotting, the excursions and guides were excellent. We loved the hotel (with a great restaurant on site) and easy access to the public beach. The LPT team was quick to respond to needed transportation changes, and we saw so many sloths!
