Welcome to Chania! Arrival, Welcome Drink + Dinner

Arrive in Chania and meet your driver for your included transfer to our hotel. After you settle in and freshen up, we’ll gather for a welcome drink to meet the group and ease into Cretan time. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner together, sharing our first taste of local flavors and setting intentions for the days ahead.

Taste of Chania: Walking Food Tour

Spend beach time in the morning. Next, get ready to dive straight into Chania’s food scene with a sunset guided walking food tour. As we wander through the old town, you’ll sample Cretan specialties, learn about local ingredients, and hear the stories behind the dishes.

Countryside Vineyards: Wine Tasting

Today we head into the countryside for a wine and olive oil tasting at local vineyards. We’ll learn how Crete’s famous wine is produced, taste different varieties, and enjoy regional wines while soaking in the scenery. Expect a leisurely day of conversation, flavors, and views that showcase rural Crete at its best.

Hidden Coves: Private Boat Day

Get ready for a day on the water. We’ll set off on a private boat tour to explore hidden beaches and sea caves along the Cretan coast. There will be time to swim, relax on deck, and take plenty of photos as we visit secluded spots that are only accessible by boat.

From Chania to Rethymno: Old Town Charms

After breakfast we’ll say goodbye to Chania and transfer to Rethymno. Once we’ve checked into our next hotel, we’ll head out on a guided old town tour, wandering past Venetian architecture, narrow lanes, and lively squares. It’s the perfect way to get oriented and fall in love with Rethymno’s relaxed charm.

Hidden Villages & Inland Crete

Today’s inland island tour takes us beyond the coast to discover hidden villages and quieter corners of Crete. With a local guide, we’ll travel through the countryside, visit small communities, and see a different side of island life. Expect scenic views, stories from locals, and a deeper understanding of Cretan culture.

Onward to Heraklion

This morning we’ll depart Rethymno and transfer to Heraklion, Crete’s bustling capital. After settling into our final hotel, you’ll have free time to explore nearby cafés, stroll along the waterfront, or simply rest before our deep dive into ancient history tomorrow.

Ancient Crete: Heraklion Archaeological Tour

Today we explore Crete’s storied past with an archaeological tour in and around Heraklion. With an expert guide, we’ll learn about the island’s ancient civilizations and see key sites that bring Cretan mythology and history to life. It’s a fascinating, grounding day that connects everything we’ve seen so far.

Sailing to Dia Island: Catamaran Cruise & Lunch

Our final full day is all about relaxation on the water. We’ll board a luxurious catamaran for a cruise to Dia Island, where clear waters and quiet coves await. Enjoy swimming stops, sunbathing on deck before we sail back to Heraklion.

Today we say goodbye! Depart Crete with new friends, renewed confidence, and a camera roll full of memories from your time on the island.
