I've always wanted to go to Greece - for the history, the islands, the sunsets ... a chance to experience one of the most beautiful places on Earth. As someone accustomed to traveling alone, I wasn't sure what to expect from a group trip with 10 other women, but I decided to take a chance on the Greek Islands trip in June 2026! Thanks to Melissa, I found all I was looking for, and then some! Our group of 11 women came together as strangers, and somewhere between the ancient ruins, ferry rides, conversations over extended meals, endless laughter and beautiful sunsets, we became friends. As our host, Melissa planned an unforgettable trip, with lovely hotels, amazing food, meaningful tours and activities, downtime/beach days and surprise personal touches that added to the overall magic of this experience. 10 out of 10 recommend Melissa and A Solo Woman Traveling if you're on the fence about traveling alone. Melissa was a fabulous host on our tour through Athens, Naxos, Delos, Mykonos, and the Athens Riviera! Everything was beautifully organized, from our hotels and transfers to our meals and activities. She also thought to add in days with free time, giving anyone who wanted the opportunity to visit additional islands (myself and another guest went to Paros, which was lovely) and/or do things outside of the group that weren't included in the itinerary. The trip was perfectly paced, and no one felt pressured to participate in activities or meals that either didn't interest them or they were too tired to attend (that can happen after a long day!). This Greece trip was truly unforgettable. Great balance of activities around food, history, exploring the islands and cities, as well as downtime to relax and refresh. Melissa did a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and a part of the group. And I love how she communicated so much before the trip so we all knew what to pack and what to expect each day.
