My father and I travelled Peru and Bolivia for about 2 and a half weeks with Peru Trek 4 Good and we had a fantastic time. Our tour covered Lima, Amazon Jungle (in Peru), Cusco and Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and Uyuni Salt Flats. Saw some amazing sights and made great memories. Highlights of the Company: - Really flexible company - Can leave any day of the year and make amendments (our trip didn't have Amazon aspect, so we added it and they had no issues). - Communication - was really good. Daily breakdowns of what tomorrow would be via whatsapp, any questions were quickly answered so we werent waiting around unsure. - Punctuality - awesome (Peru in particular). Whatever time they said pick up/drop off was, bang on time. Transfers always on time. Bolivia was mostly good (Salt Flats tour was the only slightly tardy aspect) - Even long travel days/night bus were comfy and had enough stops to make them tolerable. Things to Consider: - Hard to make friends - it's mostly several different day tours put together rather than a big group travelling around for 2 weeks. If you're a solo traveller/want to get to know new people, it can be hard as you start fresh most days. Our trip was not for this purpose, so we had no issues. - Salt Flats Tour - Definitely more of a hostel tour - the accom is limited (minimal/no wifi or service, heating and electricity questionable, toilet paper only available for purchase). Again, for 2 nights, we didn't mind. I understand some travellers may expect a finer service.

Peru is anamazing country and so are its people and food. He had an amazing time. The tour operator not so much. Very disorganized, did not share information about logistics till the day before (sometime had to ask him till 8 PM the night before). Sometimes did not stick to the promise of what was charged as part of the package. Did not even bother to inform that dinner will not be available at Huacachina (although we were charged for it). One of the hotel booked did not have the right room available. No refunds. Train and few reservation bookings had incorrect name and date of birth. The list goes on and on. Definitely visit the country and it's amazing people and experience it's culture. Avoid Peru Trek 4 Good.

Hello everyone: Sorry to hear that something was not clear. Before booking we always send a detailed itinerary, we sent this to you: so you always knew what tour you were going to have each day; the times for the tours are usually confirmed the day or night before, this is always better; so our clients are not worried about having too much information and times for many days. Sorry but for us you got what you paid for, we gave you the best private and flexible tours available and where possible we even gave you better hotels and rooms. The only change our partner made was to give you snacks instead of dinner for the Huacachina tour (it is very difficult to give dinner in the desert at night), you had a private buggy tour (just for your group) and we even included, sand boards (for free) and the sunset. Our partner in Ica made this change because: To give you a better itinerary and experience, we gave you 2 nights in a very good hotel in Paracas (instead of just 1); we explained that the hotels in Paracas are more expensive than in Lima and that is why our partner gave you only a snack instead of a picnic dinner. About the hotel in Lima: Before your arrival, we sent you the voucher where you can clearly see that we paid for the 2 rooms you requested. The hotel told us that they had an ACCIDENT and that is why they had to close some rooms (by your late arrival), that night they explained this very well to you, apologized for the accident and offered to give you another room in a better hotel they have 30 minutes away (with everything paid), you were not flexible and refused this good option and took what they had. This is not a big deal: sometimes the people selling the train and other tickets make small mistakes with names and numbers. Again, we explained this to you very well. We are sure that you did not have any problems using the tickets with the small mistakes or you would be talking about it here. Thank you very much for your time and comments; they will help us.

The photos you will take - will make it worthwhile. It is a beautiful ride to get there - it's a full day of adventure. The ATV riding is fun. My nephews really enjoyed. Be prepared to hike. It is not for the faint of heart...high altitude and a trek. But you get lots of encouragement and support from the guides. Also there are some options to pay a little extra and get a motorbike to take you to the peak. The rainbow colors are amazing; staff from Peru - Trek 4 Good are kind, organized and good with kids. Wonderful day trip from Cusco!

If I hadn't paid for the upgrades, I would have given the entire tour a 5. I paid over $500 to upgrade, mainly because I wasn't sure of the 3 star hotels. The contract stated 4/5 star or most expensive hotel. Our 5 star hotel in Lima fit that bill, unfortunately, the rest did not. I was given the names of the hotels and I looked them up, they were awesome as well. I believe the problem was that the hotels I was given were premier 4 star hotels, but we were in the low 4 star standard hotels. Some of our rooms didn't have a fridge, and there were no extra amenities. The rooms were disappointing, but the tour was great.

Hello: Sorry for the confusion, but please note this: Before you paid the extra for the better hotels (we never said 4 or 5-star hotels) we sent the whole list and the price to your travel agent, we never knew that you wanted 4 or 5-star hotels and it is not our fault that your travel agent did not check well that there was only one 5 star hotel (in Lima) in our list. Also please note this: For the trip you had, we provided and you used all the hotels on the list we sent you, we did not use any other hotels

Both drivers were safe, and we could not have crossed the border without Sandro’s help. Even though we brought all the correct documents, there were questions and procedures that he was able to help us navigate confidently and efficiently.

Hello: Thank you for your time Yes, for getting the Bolivian visa at the border; it is highly recommended to pay extra to have a local guide, which will help to translate all the questions and procedures
