This tour exceeded all expectations! We booked it fully aware of the long, bumpy journey from Cusco—one of the reasons so few people make the trip. But the reward was an unforgettable experience far from the crowds. How often do you get the opportunity to walk alongside a 45-kilometre glacier, knowing it is slowly retreating due to climate change? It was both awe-inspiring and humbling. Our guide was fantastic, sharing insights throughout the day while capturing candid photos and drone footage that perfectly documented the experience. Yure was fantastic, he accommodated all my requests and was actively part of my trip and the welcoming team in Peru. Hotels in Peru were ok but organisation and planning were spotless. Maybe the return train from Machu Picchu could have been earlier in the day, otherwise, no complaints. Bolivia was a different story and luckily Sandro looked after the first part of the trip in Lake Titicaca and La Paz. If you want to go beyond Uyuni and reach Chile with this tour, please triple check who you are doing this with and be prepared for very tough travel conditions, bad catering and a customer service that is not up to standards. It is a real shame, since Bolivia has amazing landscapes, but the entire group I was travelling with had a hard time on the last two nights through the deserts. Definitely take the opportunity to visit San Pedro de Atacama if you have time, although the border process can take time.

Victor was a great guide and made sure we visited all the sites when the tour groups were not there, so we had most places to ourselves. Victor was informative and helpful the entire day.
