From Michelin Stars to the Farm
Few chefs embody the connection between the land and the table quite like Chef Jeremy Ford.
A Bravo Top Chef Season 13 Champion, Michelin-starred chef, and James Beard Award semifinalist, Chef Jeremy has built a reputation as one of America's most innovative culinary talents. As the chef and partner behind Stubborn Seed in Miami Beach, he has earned a MICHELIN Star every year since 2022, along with a MICHELIN Green Star recognizing his commitment to sustainability and responsible sourcing. His culinary career has also included working alongside legendary chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Dean Max, Christophe Émé, and Joachim Splichal, experiences that helped shape his ingredient-driven approach to modern cuisine. (Fords Farm)
Today, Jeremy's passion extends far beyond the restaurant kitchen.
Together with his longtime friend, business partner, and fellow chef Joe Mizzoni, he has created Ford's Farm, a thriving working farm in South Florida where exceptional cuisine begins long before ingredients ever reach the plate. More than simply growing produce, Ford's Farm is an immersive expression of their shared philosophy: understanding food from the ground up. Every season brings new harvests that inspire the menus at their acclaimed restaurants while serving as the backdrop for unforgettable farm dinners, chef collaborations, and intimate culinary gatherings beneath the stars. (Fords Farm)
Chef Joe Mizzoni, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, brings more than 25 years of experience working in fine dining, Michelin-level kitchens, and farm-to-table restaurants. After helping open Stubborn Seed alongside Jeremy, Joe reunited with him to help build Ford's Farm into a place where agriculture, sustainability, and hospitality come together. His deep appreciation for seasonal ingredients and classic culinary technique perfectly complements Jeremy's creative vision, making the two an exceptional team both on the farm and in the kitchen. (Fords Farm)
Throughout Altitude & Ember, Chef Jeremy and Chef Joe will share the same philosophy that defines everything they do at Ford's Farm: great cooking begins with great ingredients, meaningful relationships with the people who grow them, and a genuine respect for the land.
Together with Chef Richard Gruica and The Gourmet Vacation, they'll invite you beyond the dining room and into the heart of Peru's remarkable culinary traditions, creating unforgettable experiences where extraordinary food, authentic culture, and lasting friendships naturally come together around the table.

Day 1 | Sunday, July 18th, 2027
Layers of Lima: Markets, Chifa & the Creative Spirit of Peru
Welcome to Lima, the culinary capital of South America and one of the world's most exciting food cities. Today marks the official beginning of our Peruvian adventure as we dive headfirst into the flavors, traditions, and neighborhoods that have made Lima an international gastronomic destination.
Together with Chef Jeremy Ford, Chef Joe Mizzoni, and Chef Richard Gruica, we'll begin uncovering the many layers that make Lima so remarkable, where Indigenous traditions, Spanish heritage, Chinese influences, Japanese precision, and modern creativity come together to create one of the most dynamic food cultures on the planet.
A Taste of Everyday Lima
Our morning begins with a visit to one of Lima's bustling neighborhood markets, where locals shop daily for the freshest seafood, colorful produce, aromatic herbs, and countless ingredients that define Peruvian cuisine. This lively marketplace offers an authentic glimpse into everyday life and serves as the perfect introduction to Peru's extraordinary biodiversity.
As we wander through the market, you'll sample an array of exotic tropical fruits and enjoy one of Lima's favorite breakfast traditions: the legendary chicharrón sandwich, featuring crispy pork, sweet potato, salsa criolla, and fresh bread, a delicious combination that perfectly balances sweet, savory, and tangy flavors.
One of the true highlights of our visit awaits at a humble market stall where Claudia has been preparing her celebrated Chupe de Mariscos for more than four decades. Rich, comforting, and overflowing with the freshest seafood from the Pacific, her legendary seafood chowder has become a destination in itself. Every spoonful tells a story of tradition, family, and the enduring flavors of Peru.
Sunday Chifa: A Beloved Peruvian Tradition
Next, we'll discover one of Peru's most fascinating culinary stories: Chifa, the beloved fusion of Chinese and Peruvian cuisine. Few countries have embraced another culture's culinary traditions quite like Peru. Over generations, Chinese immigrants blended their cooking techniques with native Peruvian ingredients, creating an entirely new cuisine that has become an essential part of everyday life.
In Peru, Chifa restaurants are everywhere. Much like neighborhood Italian restaurants in the United States, every community has its favorite, and spirited debates over which is best are common around family dinner tables.
Since today is Sunday, we'll experience Chifa the way many Peruvians do, gathered together over a leisurely family-style meal at one of Lima's most iconic institutions, Chifa TiTi. Expect vibrant stir-fries, wok-fired rice, perfectly roasted meats, handmade dumplings, bold sauces, and irresistible flavors that beautifully showcase one of the world's great culinary fusions.
An Afternoon in Barranco
After lunch, we'll head to Barranco, Lima's colorful bohemian neighborhood and creative heart. Filled with beautifully restored colonial homes, vibrant murals, boutique galleries, hidden cafés, artisan shops, and lively plazas, Barranco perfectly captures Lima's artistic soul. It's a neighborhood best explored without rushing, allowing every street to reveal something unexpected. We'll begin with a handcrafted cocktail at the legendary Ayahuasca, housed inside a magnificent historic mansion that has become one of Lima's most iconic cocktail destinations.
From here, the afternoon is yours to enjoy.
Browse local boutiques, discover contemporary art galleries, relax at a neighborhood café, enjoy live music, or simply wander Barranco's charming streets as they come alive with locals and visitors alike.
Guests wishing to return to the hotel may do so via our arranged transportation, while others are welcome to continue exploring Barranco or nearby Miraflores at their own pace. Both neighborhoods are among Lima's safest and most walkable, with inexpensive rideshare services readily available throughout the day and evening.
The Perfect Beginning
Today is much more than your first day in Peru.
It's your first taste of the warmth, generosity, creativity, and extraordinary culinary traditions that define this remarkable country. From bustling neighborhood markets and legendary family recipes to world-famous fusion cuisine and Lima's vibrant artistic spirit, you'll quickly discover why Peru has become one of the world's most celebrated food destinations.
And this is only the beginning.
Bienvenidos a Perú... the adventure has officially begun. 🇵🇪🍷🍽️
Stay in Luxury: A Five-Star Retreat in Miraflores
During our stay in Lima, you'll enjoy accommodations at a luxurious 5-star hotel located in the heart of Miraflores, Lima's most desirable and vibrant neighborhood. Surrounded by outstanding restaurants, boutique shopping, beautiful parks, and the city's famous coastal promenade, Miraflores offers the perfect home base for exploring Peru's dynamic capital. Day 2 | Monday, July 19, 2027
Catch, Craft & Ceviche: Discovering the Flavors of Peru's Pacific Coast
Today is a celebration of Peru's extraordinary relationship with the Pacific Ocean. From the bustling docks where fishermen unload the morning's catch to preparing Peru's most iconic dish with your own hands, this day immerses you in the traditions, flavors, and culinary heritage that have made Peruvian seafood famous around the world. Today's experiences reveal why fresh seafood lies at the very heart of Peruvian cuisine.
The Morning Catch at Chorrillos
Our day begins where countless Peruvian meals begin, at the vibrant fishing port of Chorrillos. Long before Lima's celebrated chefs begin preparing their menus, local fishermen return from the Pacific with an incredible bounty destined for the city's restaurants and markets. As boats unload their catch, you'll witness the daily ritual that has supplied Lima's kitchens for generations. Walk alongside bustling market stalls overflowing with vibrant fish, shellfish, octopus, scallops, and countless species unique to Peru's nutrient-rich Humboldt Current. Listen as fishermen call out the morning's offerings, breathe in the salty ocean air, and experience the authentic rhythm of one of Lima's most important seafood hubs. This isn't a tourist attraction. It's a fascinating glimpse into everyday coastal life and the remarkable ingredients that have helped make Peru one of the world's great culinary destinations.
Mastering Peru's Most Iconic Dish
Next, we'll head to the elegant district of San Isidro for one of the culinary highlights of the trip. Under the guidance of local experts, you'll participate in an intimate Ceviche and Pisco Sour Masterclass, learning the techniques behind two of Peru's greatest culinary treasures. Beginning with the freshest fish from the morning's market, you'll prepare authentic Peruvian ceviche using freshly squeezed lime juice, ají peppers, onions, cilantro, and the perfect balance of seasoning that transforms simple ingredients into Peru's national dish.
You'll also discover the history and artistry behind Peru's national cocktail as you shake, pour, and garnish your own perfectly balanced Pisco Sour, learning why this refreshing cocktail has become an international symbol of Peruvian hospitality.
Then comes the best part... sitting down together to enjoy the delicious meal you've helped create.
An Afternoon at Leisure
Following lunch, enjoy a relaxing afternoon to experience Lima at your own pace.
Perhaps you'll stroll the breathtaking Malecón overlooking the Pacific, browse the boutiques and cafés of Miraflores, visit nearby Barranco's colorful art galleries, or simply relax at our luxurious five-star hotel before this evening's gathering.
Whether you're shopping for artisan crafts, sipping coffee at a neighborhood café, or watching paragliders drift above the cliffs, this free time offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy Lima like a local.
A Peruvian Comfort Food Classic
As evening arrives, we'll gather once again for a meal that every Peruvian knows and loves. Tonight we experience Pollo a la Brasa, Peru's legendary rotisserie chicken, at the beautiful Hacienda Monterrico, a lush urban oasis beloved by locals.
While visitors often associate Peru with ceviche, Pollo a la Brasa is the country's ultimate comfort food and one of its greatest culinary success stories. Slowly roasted over open flames and seasoned with a closely guarded blend of spices, the chicken emerges with irresistibly crisp skin, incredibly juicy meat, and layers of smoky, savory flavor. Served alongside traditional accompaniments in a warm and inviting setting, it's the kind of meal that brings family and friends together around the table.
It's casual.
It's authentic.
And it's an experience every visitor to Peru should enjoy.
A Day Defined by the Sea
From witnessing the excitement of Lima's working fishing port to preparing Peru's most celebrated national dish and ending the day around one of the country's most beloved comfort foods, today's experiences showcase the incredible diversity of Peru's coastal cuisine. It's a day filled with fresh flavors, local traditions, unforgettable stories, and meaningful connections that beautifully capture the soul of Peru.
Tomorrow, our journey continues as we leave the coast behind and begin exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the ancient heart of the Inca Empire. 🇵🇪🐟🍋🍷
Combining elegant accommodations, exceptional service, and an unbeatable location, your hotel provides a refined and comfortable retreat after each day's culinary adventures, ensuring a memorable beginning to your journey through Peru.
Day 3 | Tuesday, July 20th, 2027
From Coast to Clouds: Into the Sacred Valley of the Incas
Today, we leave the Pacific coastline behind and journey into one of the most breathtaking landscapes on Earth. As we trade ocean breezes for crisp mountain air, our adventure shifts from Peru's celebrated coast to the heart of the Andes, where ancient Inca traditions, spectacular scenery, and unforgettable culinary experiences await.
After a leisurely morning in Lima, we'll board our flight to the historic city of Cusco, soaring high above the dramatic peaks that have shaped Peru's culture for thousands of years. Upon arrival, we'll bypass the higher altitude of Cusco and descend directly into the beautiful Sacred Valley, allowing our bodies to acclimate more comfortably while immediately immersing ourselves in one of Peru's most enchanting regions.
Farm-to-Table in the Heart of the Andes
As we make our way through the valley, we'll stop in the charming town of Urubamba, where our first Andean culinary experience awaits. Our destination is the picturesque cattle ranch of Chef Rely Lazo, one of Peru's most respected chefs and a longtime friend of Chef Richard Gruica. Chef Rely is far more than an accomplished chef. He's also a dedicated cattle rancher whose deep connection to the land influences every dish he creates. Surrounded by rolling fields and breathtaking mountain vistas, we'll enjoy a true farm-to-table experience that beautifully reflects the spirit of the Sacred Valley. Using locally raised meats, freshly harvested produce, native herbs, and traditional Andean ingredients, Chef Rely will introduce us to the flavors that define this remarkable region.
Adding to the fun, Chef Jeremy Ford and Chef Joe Mizzoni will step into the kitchen alongside Chef Rely, creating an engaging culinary collaboration that promises plenty of laughter, great stories, and unforgettable food. This marks the first of several exclusive farm experiences that will become a signature part of our Peruvian journey, offering an authentic connection to the people, traditions, and landscapes that make this country so extraordinary.
Welcome to the Sacred Valley
Following our early dinner, we'll continue deeper into the Sacred Valley as the late afternoon light casts a golden glow across the surrounding peaks. Soon we'll arrive at our home for the next three nights, the magnificent Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness Resort, one of Peru's most elegant luxury properties. Built around a beautifully restored 17th-century colonial hacienda, this exceptional five-star retreat effortlessly blends history, luxury, and natural beauty. Nestled along the tranquil banks of the Vilcanota River and surrounded by soaring Andean mountains, Aranwa offers an atmosphere of complete serenity unlike anywhere else in Peru.
Our accommodations are located within the property's historic hacienda, where antique furnishings, museum-quality artwork, hand-carved woodwork, and centuries-old architecture transport guests to another era while providing every modern comfort imaginable.
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed with a traditional cup of coca tea, Peru's centuries-old remedy for helping visitors comfortably adjust to the altitude. Afterwards, enjoy time to settle into your room, stroll through the beautifully manicured gardens, visit the world-class spa, or simply relax beside the river while taking in the peaceful energy of the Sacred Valley. As evening settles over the Andes and the surrounding mountains begin to glow beneath the setting sun, you'll quickly understand why the Sacred Valley has captivated travelers for centuries.
Stay in Luxury-Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness Resort
For the next three evenings, we'll call one of Peru's finest luxury resorts home.
Originally a 17th-century colonial hacienda, the Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness Resort seamlessly blends historic elegance with contemporary luxury. Surrounded by lush gardens, tranquil rivers, snow-capped mountains, and breathtaking valley views, the property offers an atmosphere of peace and refinement unlike anywhere else in the region. Tonight, as you drift off to sleep beneath the towering Andes, you'll know you've entered one of the most magical places in South America. Tomorrow, the story of the Incas truly begins.
Day 4 | Wednesday, July 21, 2027
From Earth to Table: Potatoes, Traditions & the Sacred Valley
Today is a celebration of the Sacred Valley's extraordinary connection to the land. From ancient farming traditions and colorful mountain villages to handcrafted textiles and one of Peru's oldest cooking techniques, you'll experience the remarkable culture that has sustained the Andes for thousands of years.
This is another day where food becomes far more than something to eat. It becomes history, identity, and a living tradition passed from one generation to the next.
Meeting Peru's Legendary "Potato Whisperer"
Our morning begins with one of the most unique culinary experiences found anywhere in Peru. We'll visit the farm of Manuel Choqque, affectionately known as Peru's legendary "Potato Whisperer." A passionate farmer, educator, and conservationist, Manuel has dedicated his life's work to preserving Peru's astonishing biodiversity, cultivating more than 4,000 heirloom varieties of native potatoes, many of which exist nowhere else on Earth. As we walk through his fields, you'll discover potatoes in every imaginable shape, size, and color while learning how these humble tubers helped shape civilizations and continue to nourish communities throughout the Andes today. You'll hear fascinating stories of ancient agricultural traditions, taste several unique varieties, and even sample one of Manuel's most surprising creations...Potato wine. It may sound unexpected, but after your first sip, you'll quickly understand why visitors leave both amazed and inspired by Manuel's incredible dedication to Peru's agricultural heritage.
Coffee, Pastries & Mountain Charm
From the farm, we'll make our way to the picturesque village of Chinchero, one of the Sacred Valley's most charming Andean communities. Tucked away among its cobblestone streets is one of Chef Richard's favorite hidden discoveries, the delightful D'llaqta Café. Fresh pastries emerge from the oven throughout the morning, filling the café with the irresistible aroma of buttery croissants, flaky pastries, artisan breads, and rich locally roasted Peruvian coffee. It's the perfect opportunity to slow down, enjoy the peaceful rhythm of village life, and savor one of those hidden gems that most travelers never find.
The Living Art of Andean Textiles
Chinchero is also renowned as one of Peru's most important centers for traditional textile weaving. Here we'll meet talented local artisans who continue centuries-old weaving traditions passed down through countless generations. Watch as naturally dyed alpaca wool is transformed into vibrant blankets, scarves, and intricate textiles using techniques that remain remarkably unchanged since Inca times.
Every pattern tells a story.
Every color carries meaning.
Every piece reflects the deep cultural heritage of the Andean people.
It's not simply a demonstration; it's an opportunity to witness one of Peru's greatest artistic traditions still thriving today.
Another Farm-to-Earth Experience: Pachamanca
This afternoon, we'll gather beside a beautiful mountain lake for one of Peru's oldest and most meaningful culinary traditions. Pachamanca, meaning "earth oven" in Quechua, is a centuries-old cooking technique where marinated meats, potatoes, corn, herbs, and vegetables are slowly cooked beneath heated volcanic stones buried deep within the earth. Together, we'll help prepare the feast, layering meats, vegetables, and native herbs before covering everything beneath the hot stones to slowly roast.
While the meal cooks underground, we'll relax beside the lake, enjoy the spectacular scenery, and experience live Andean music echoing across the valley.
When the earth is finally opened, the aromas are unforgettable. The result is one of Peru's most authentic communal dining experiences, celebrating family, friendship, gratitude, and the remarkable bounty of the Andes.
For The Gourmet Vacation, this becomes our third unforgettable farm-to-earth experience, connecting us once again to the farmers, traditions, and landscapes that make Peru's cuisine so extraordinary.
An Evening to Reflect
As the afternoon draws to a close, we'll return to the beautiful Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness Resort. Whether you choose to relax at the spa, stroll through the gardens, sip a cocktail beside the river, or simply enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings, you'll have time to reflect on a day that beautifully connected agriculture, culture, craftsmanship, and cuisine.
Today wasn't simply about tasting Peru.
It was about understanding the profound relationship between the Andean people and the land that continues to nourish them. Tomorrow, our journey reaches one of the most iconic places on Earth as we travel by rail into the breathtaking sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Day 5 | Thursday, July 22, 2027
The Lost City of the Incas: An Unforgettable Journey to Machu Picchu
Some places are simply destinations.
Machu Picchu is an experience.
Today, we journey to one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in the world, a place that has captivated explorers, historians, and travelers for centuries. Hidden high among the cloud-kissed peaks of the Andes, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is more than an ancient city. It is a masterpiece of engineering, spirituality, and human ingenuity that continues to inspire awe nearly six hundred years after it was built. For many, today becomes the defining moment of their journey through Peru.
A Scenic Journey Through the Sacred Valley
Our adventure begins with a beautiful drive through the Sacred Valley as the morning light illuminates snow-capped peaks, traditional villages, and fertile farmland that has sustained Andean communities for centuries.
Arriving in the historic town of Ollantaytambo, we'll board one of the world's most scenic rail journeys. As our train gently winds alongside the rushing Urubamba River, spectacular scenery unfolds around every bend. Towering granite cliffs, lush cloud forests, cascading waterfalls, and ancient agricultural terraces create an ever-changing landscape that is every bit as memorable as the destination itself.
The journey is all part of the experience.
Lunch at the Gateway to Wonder
Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we'll make our way to the elegant Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel located immediately adjacent to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Here we'll enjoy a beautifully prepared lunch featuring a wonderful selection of Peruvian and international cuisine while surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Andean mountains. It's the perfect opportunity to relax, recharge, and savor the anticipation before stepping into one of the world's greatest archaeological treasures.
Exploring the Lost City of the Incas
Following lunch, we'll enter the magnificent sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Accompanied by our expert local guide, we'll explore this remarkable citadel while uncovering the fascinating history, mysteries, and engineering brilliance of the Inca civilization. As we wander through beautifully preserved stone temples, ceremonial plazas, agricultural terraces, and ancient residences, you'll gain a deeper understanding of how this extraordinary city functioned and why it continues to intrigue historians and archaeologists around the globe. Along the way, countless panoramic viewpoints provide breathtaking opportunities to capture the iconic vistas that have made Machu Picchu one of the most photographed destinations on Earth. Yet beyond the spectacular scenery, there is something almost impossible to describe.
There is a peaceful energy here.
A quiet reverence.
A feeling that transcends photographs and guidebooks.
Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, Machu Picchu has an extraordinary way of leaving a lasting impression.
A Journey to Remember
As our time at Machu Picchu comes to a close, we'll descend back to Aguas Calientes before boarding our return train through the Sacred Valley.
Relax as the mountains slowly pass by your window, offering time to reflect on an experience that few places in the world can rival.
Later this evening, we'll return to our home at the beautiful Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness Resort, where you can unwind, enjoy a well-earned glass of wine, and relive the unforgettable moments of a truly extraordinary day.

Day 6 | Friday, July 23rd, 2027
Fields, Fire & Flavors: An Andean Farm Experience in the Sacred Valley
Today is a celebration of the Sacred Valley's agricultural heritage, where centuries-old traditions continue to shape the flavors of modern Peruvian cuisine. From ancient civilizations and world-class coffee to one of Peru's most iconic farms, you'll experience how the land itself continues to inspire the country's remarkable culinary identity.
Walking Through Peru's Ancient Civilizations
Our morning begins at the remarkable Museo Inkariy, one of Peru's most engaging cultural experiences. Unlike a traditional museum, Inkariy transports visitors through thousands of years of Peruvian history with immersive, life-sized recreations of the country's great civilizations. Journey through the worlds of the Chavín, Paracas, Nazca, Mochica, Wari, Lambayeque, Chimú, and finally the mighty Inca Empire, gaining a deeper appreciation for the cultures whose innovations continue to influence Peru today. It's the perfect foundation for understanding the remarkable traditions we'll continue to experience throughout our journey.
Coffee at the Source
Next, we'll awaken our senses with a visit to Pisonay Coffee Roasters, one of the Sacred Valley's outstanding specialty coffee producers. Here we'll discover why Peru has quietly become one of the world's premier coffee-growing countries. Learn how beans grown high in the Andes are carefully harvested, roasted, and transformed into beautifully balanced coffees celebrated for their complexity and character.
Following a behind-the-scenes look at the roasting process, we'll enjoy a guided tasting featuring several distinctive Peruvian coffees, each expressing the unique terroir of the surrounding mountains. Whether you're a passionate coffee enthusiast or simply appreciate a great cup, this experience offers a delicious introduction to one of Peru's finest exports.
A True Farm-to-Table Experience at Hacienda Sarapampa
This afternoon, we continue to one of the Sacred Valley's most treasured agricultural estates, Hacienda Sarapampa, home to Peru's legendary giant white corn, or choclo. For generations, the same family has carefully cultivated these fertile fields, producing one of Peru's most iconic ingredients while preserving the agricultural traditions that have sustained the valley for centuries. Rather than simply touring the farm, today you'll be welcomed as honored guests. We'll walk the fields alongside the family, learning about the cultivation of Peru's famous giant white corn and the many native crops that flourish in this extraordinary region. Along the way, you'll gain insight into sustainable farming practices, local traditions, and the deep connection between the Andean people and the land they call home.
Then comes one of the most memorable experiences of the journey.
Gathering at the family's beautiful historic hacienda, we'll spend the afternoon enjoying another unforgettable farm-to-table experience as Chef Jeremy Ford and Chef Joe Mizzoni join the family around the grill to prepare a relaxed outdoor feast celebrating the incredible bounty of the Sacred Valley. Together we'll cook with freshly harvested corn, seasonal vegetables, native potatoes, local herbs, artisan cheeses, meats, and other remarkable Andean ingredients sourced directly from the surrounding fields. It's less about a formal meal and more about sharing stories, preparing food together, and experiencing the warmth of Peruvian hospitality in one of the most authentic settings imaginable.
This is exactly what The Gourmet Vacation is all about: creating meaningful connections around the table with the people who dedicate their lives to preserving their culinary traditions.
It's our fourth unforgettable farm experience of the journey, and one that beautifully captures the generosity, authenticity, and spirit of Peru.
Welcome to Historic Cusco
Following our afternoon on the farm, we'll make our way into the legendary city of Cusco, once the capital of the mighty Inca Empire. Upon arrival, we'll check into the elegant Casa Andina Premium Cusco, a beautifully restored colonial mansion nestled in the heart of the city's historic center. After settling in, we'll enjoy an introductory walking tour through Cusco's enchanting cobblestone streets, discovering hidden courtyards, charming plazas, artisan shops, and centuries of fascinating history where Inca foundations meet Spanish colonial architecture.
The remainder of the evening is yours to enjoy. Browse the colorful artisan markets, relax with a handcrafted Pisco Sour, discover one of Cusco's outstanding restaurants, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere of one of South America's most captivating cities.

A Grand Finale: Ancient Wonders & One Last Taste of Peru
As our unforgettable journey through Peru begins to wind down, we savor one final day that beautifully blends the country's extraordinary history with its world-renowned culinary scene. While our time in the Andes comes to a close, Peru still has one more remarkable chapter waiting to be written. Take time this morning to enjoy Cusco at your own pace. Wander the city's charming cobblestone streets, browse colorful artisan markets, visit a neighborhood café, or simply soak in the vibrant atmosphere of what was once the capital of the mighty Inca Empire. It's the perfect opportunity to enjoy a few final moments in one of South America's most captivating cities before we begin our journey back to Lima.
A Farewell to the Inca Empire
Before heading to the airport, we'll make one final stop at one of Cusco's most awe-inspiring archaeological treasures: Saqsaywaman. Perched high above the city, this monumental Inca fortress showcases some of the finest stonework ever created. Massive limestone blocks, some weighing well over 100 tons, fit together with astonishing precision, without the use of mortar, continuing to puzzle engineers and archaeologists alike. As you stroll among these remarkable ruins and take in panoramic views overlooking Cusco, you'll gain one final appreciation for the ingenuity, craftsmanship, and vision of one of history's greatest civilizations.
It's a fitting farewell to the Andes before returning to Peru's vibrant capital.
Back to Lima... One Final Culinary Celebration
Upon arriving in Lima, we'll gather for one last extraordinary dining experience at one of Peru's most iconic restaurants, Huaca Pucllana. Few restaurants in the world offer a setting quite like this. Situated beside a beautifully preserved 1,500-year-old pre-Incan adobe pyramid, Huaca Pucllana masterfully blends Peru's ancient heritage with contemporary culinary artistry. From its elegant open-air terrace overlooking the illuminated archaeological site, we'll enjoy an unforgettable farewell dinner celebrating the extraordinary flavors we've experienced throughout our journey. Each beautifully crafted dish reflects Peru's remarkable biodiversity, combining traditional ingredients with modern techniques in a fitting tribute to one of the world's great culinary destinations. Surrounded by ancient history, exceptional cuisine, wonderful company, and the memories we've created together, we'll raise one final toast to an incredible week shared with Chef Jeremy Ford, Chef Joe Mizzoni, and Chef Richard Gruica.
It's the perfect ending to a journey filled with unforgettable meals, remarkable people, breathtaking landscapes, and experiences that few travelers ever have the opportunity to enjoy.
Return to Luxury
Following dinner, we'll return to our elegant five-star hotel in Lima's vibrant Miraflores neighborhood, where you'll have one final evening to relax and reflect on everything we've experienced together.
From bustling markets and world-class restaurants to mountain villages, ancient civilizations, farm experiences, and the unforgettable majesty of Machu Picchu, this has been far more than a culinary vacation.
It has been an immersive journey through the heart and soul of Peru.
Tomorrow we say goodbye, but the friendships, flavors, and memories created throughout this remarkable adventure will undoubtedly stay with us for years to come.
