Sorry, but I payed a LOT OF MONEY for a SINGLE room: my room was absolutely awful. Think the worst of all... Dark, tiny, like a cave, in bad shape...loud... all the other guys had a nice light room with a porch and hammock...I had nothing but dirt, open restrooms beside me... disgusting.
I was only able to move AFTER the other participants had left... When I payed the bill, they wanted extra money for the included breakfast. I had to leave 3 days earlier due to urgent personal reasons... no payback.
And: I ordered a taxi at 4 pm... because I wanted to meet friends before boarding... the taxi came 45 min after 4 and the staff had to call a few times because it wasn't booked (the driver told me so) .... I am completely disappointed and think, I´ll never book again with your company..
Not a nice experience at all. Never ever again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that parts of your experience did not meet your expectations.
We put a great deal of care and intention into every retreat, taking the time to thoughtfully coordinate each detail so that every guest feels supported and well cared for throughout their experience - from the moment they register, until they arrive back home.
Regarding your room, unfortunately the retreat space was fully booked at the time. This meant we weren’t able to offer alternative options. I completely understand that the room may not have suited your personal preferences, and I’m sorry that it impacted your stay.
I sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the taxi, as well as the confusion regarding breakfast. This is not the standard we aim for, and we will be following up with our local team to ensure clearer communication moving forward.
We care deeply about creating a positive and supportive experience for all of our guests, and it’s always disappointing to hear when that hasn’t been the case.

What can I say, it was beyond all of my hopes and dreams to go to the Dominican Republic and study astrology with Kaypacha. Alma soul and travel met and exceeded my expectations. Riley was fantastic and attended to all our needs with a relaxed authenticity that I really enjoyed. She is truly remarkable. The location was spectacular and food was mouthwatering and tantalizing to my tastebuds. My bed very was comfy and I felt safe and nurtured throughout my experience. Thank you!

From the moment I submitted my deposit, I knew this wasn’t just a retreat — it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Alma Soul didn’t simply organize a trip; they curated a profound experience that felt both authentic and alive. Riley’s on-the-ground support felt like white-glove service at its finest — thoughtful, present, and as polished as anything you’d expect from the Ritz-Carlton.
Every detail was intentional. Every moment felt held. The team’s warmth, humor, and grace created the kind of environment where strangers become family almost instantly. I’ve traveled all over the world, but I’ve never felt a sense of community bloom this naturally or this fast.
Tanzania itself was breathtaking, but it was Riley, Paloma, and the entire Alma Soul crew who turned it into something historic. Their intuition, care, and leadership made us feel safe, connected, and inspired — even through the VERY unexpected. They handled every twist with strength, clarity, and heart.
