The Egypt tour starts with arrival in Cairo. Enjoy three nights at a 5* hotel near the Giza Pyramids and full days touring including: the Giza Pyramids, the Valley of Memphis, the Step Pyramid of Zoser.

AND– People have been waiting years for this– The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), finally opened in November 2025. It is the largest museum in the world for a single civilization and for the Egyptian civilization.

A short flight brings us to Aswan. After a day touring Aswan, we embark on a three day cruise on the Nile.

The cruise disembarks in Luxor and we have 2 glorious days here before flying back to Cairo to complete our visit there.

One huge highlight is a visit to the brand new National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, opened April 18, 2021. The 22 Royal Mummies were moved from the Egyptian Museum on April 3, 2021. They include Ramses II, one of the most famous pharaohs, and Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only woman pharaoh.   https://nmec.gov.eg/

If you elect to continue with us on our Jordan tour, it is a short flight from Cairo to Amman. On arrival, enjoy a free afternoon in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood that is easy walking to cafes and shops.

Start with a full day visit of Amman and surrounding regions. Tour the fabled city of Petra, the magnificent desert moonscapes of Wadi Rum, and the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea Basin, where you’ll enjoy floating in the healing waters.

Petra is one of the great archaeological treasures in the world and without a doubt, the most important attraction of Jordan. Interact with the locals at Nubian and Bedouin villages and enjoy the historic sites.
