About this trip

Every year we will organize a special expedition outside of our regular schedule to a unique destination. This annual expedition brings together the most enthusiastic paddlers who seek unique itineraries and remote, pristine locations.

This year our annual expedition will be to Isla del Carmen. For 12 days, circumnavigate and discover the most pristine corners of Loreto, Baja California Sur.

This is a unique adventure exploring Isla del Carmen, one of the largest and most remote islands in the Loreto region. Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Sea of Cortez, the island offers an incredible combination of rugged landscapes, secluded beaches, dramatic cliffs, and abundant marine life, all best experienced from a kayak.

Among the highlights of this trip are paddling along pristine coastlines, snorkeling in clear turquoise waters, and exploring the island’s rich marine environment. The area is also home to an impressive variety of seabirds and marine life, making wildlife encounters an integral part of the experience.

This adventure is in Expedition format, without the support of a motorboat. In this format we load everything we need in our kayaks: food, clothing, equipment and drinks. After paddling, we joined forces and, together, we set up the camp and the kitchen to prepare delicious local dishes.
