Today, Jonah is a well traveled ashtanga/vinyasa teacher whose classes are both graceful and intense. Impermanence, compassion and humility are just a few of the elements that Jonah seamlessly weaves through each healing practice.

Profound. I came into this trip from seeing a post on social media so it’s as close as can be to seeing it on TV/not having much knowledge of the Seven Doorways aside from the beautiful flow clips shared on social media. I’ve done 200 hour trainings - which I mention only to highlight it doesn’t take much time to impart impactful wisdom. They are not comparable but in just one weekend this training blew my mind and opened me up to a completely new way of viewing the practice. Completely hooked and in deep gratitude to Jonah and Jonny for sharing their knowledge, heart and humility with our group. Because of their authenticity they attract the most beautiful like minded community around them. It was a special experience from start to finish that left me feeling completely spoiled but also free. Thank you for the work you do. Absolutely recommend this training and hope to attend a 300 hour with Jonah in the future based on this experience. Thank you to the entire Become a Yogi team and Hanu Yoga Miami for this special weekend.

If you want to transform your life - I can’t recommend a training or retreat with Become a Yogi enough. The yogi does the work, but the way they create and hold sacred—lets that unfold so naturally. I’ve done two 20-hour immersions this year and I’m headed into the 300 next… because the experiences are that powerful and that beautifully curated. Come find presence, connection, and something far beyond the physical.

If you are on the fence, and you are feeling callled, I could not emphasize or recommend enough.. pull the trigger on the next opportunity to experience this practice of Yoga with Jonah. Whether That be 20 hours, 200 hour YTT, or you’re 300 hour.. Jonah embodies this practice and has been on this path since birth, he’s the realest. The lineage is powerful and undeniable. He has magic in him, and the power to find that magic in you. It’s contagious. Student or teacher, absolutely life changing, lifelong connections, beautiful experience with all like minded individuals devoted to their craft. If your passion is yoga don’t wait, seize the next opportunity.

The Art of Vinyasa—A Truly Epic Journey into Flow Attending The Art of Vinyasa—specifically The Seven Doorways program—and training directly with the founders, Johnny and Jonah Kest, was an epic, mind-blowing journey. The experience felt uniquely personal; the Kests are incredibly humble and welcoming, treating you like friends they’ve known forever while sharing the full backstory of how the practice came about. The program masterfully balances doing the full practice with breaking down every element. This approach powerfully blends the artistic, almost dancing style of Vinyasa with the profound science behind what’s actually happening to the body, mind, and tissues. This elevates the flow from simple exercise to a powerful, unified moving meditation. For anyone looking to move past a plateau and build a practice that is strong, graceful, and deeply meaningful, this is the essential next step. Highly, highly recommended.

I attended a 20 hour Art of Vinyasa training in Miami this past February. I went in open and left completely transformed. I loved the way Jonah pushes you to really discover your edge; I have a tendency to sometimes pull back when I am tired or not sure I can keep flowing/hold posture, and what I discovered in this training was that my capacity to stay and breathe even 5 more breaths is SO much more than I had been giving myself credit for. If you are looking for a community of yogis who will INSPIRE, motivate and elevate you, you will find it with Jonah and Kestyoga. I cannot wait to attend a future training.

Jonah Kest’s 20-hour Become a Yogi Retreat was nothing short of extraordinary. His teaching style blends wisdom, authenticity, and humor, creating an experience that feels both challenging and accessible. Jonah’s incredible creativity in guiding posture transitions kept each practice fresh and inspiring, while his attention to creating a sacred space added a powerful layer of intention to the retreat. Every detail felt purposeful, leaving me deeply connected to my practice and grateful for the experience. If you’re looking to elevate your yoga journey, I highly recommend this retreat — it’s an unforgettable experience with a truly gifted teacher. Thank you, Jonah, for an inspiring and transformative weekend!

I had the pleasure of taking Jonah’s 20-Hour Art of Vinyasa Training in Miami. I didn’t realize how much I needed this training. I was feeling a bit stagnate in my teaching and in my practice and it felt like a creative reset-like someone lit a spark that had been dimmed by staying in my comfort zone. I came back to my own practice and teaching with a renewed sense of purpose, fresh inspiration, and a deeper love for yoga. Jonah’s approach is unique and powerful. He has a way of breaking things down that makes you see Vinyasa in a whole new light—blending strong, intentional sequencing with a freedom that encourages creativity. His style is refreshing, informative, and pushes you to think outside the box while still honoring the roots of the practice. The only thing I would have loved more of is the spiritual side or more integration of yoga philosophy. But overall this training was exactly what I needed. If you ever get the chance to learn from Jonah, do it. You’ll leave feeling re-energized, inspired, and more connected to your practice than ever.🧘‍♀️
