Welcome to the famous Haramara Retreat! Located in the breathtaking coastal Riviera Nayarit near the fishing village and surfing town of Sayulita, about 40 minutes from Puerto Vallarta. Nestled above Pacific Ocean on 12 private acres of tropical jungle with a private and pristine beach. Haramara (“Mother Sea”) is an exclusive and intimate seaside yoga resort offering sensual tropical harmony to every guest. The magnificent 360-degree view yoga pavilions, with their high thatched roofs and handcrafted hardwood floors, have been positioned to take advantage of the panoramic views of lush mountains, while taking advantage of the soothing ocean breezes. The open aired spa facility puts you back in touch with nature, as you are pampered body and spirit. There’s a beautiful infinity pool, looking over the pacific. Learn an ancient way of holistic living to be in the present moment which is the only true happiness and where life and creativity live. The program is filled with traditional Yoga, Meditation, restorative practices, ceremony, and joy. All Yoga classes will be for all levels and meditation will be for beginners to advanced practitioners. We will not focus on advanced difficult poses but rather the art of being. Our classes will be a moving meditation. Each class will focus on a specific chakra (energy center) and element. We will have restorative classes and Yoga Nidra for ultimate relaxation and restoration. Our meditation classes are taught to build your practice up so you can take these mindfulness tools home with you. 

The restaurant offers exceptional, creative, local cuisine that includes fresh and delicious mostly organic gourmet meals. Enjoy delicious gourmet meals tastefully prepared and artistically presented by some of the finest chefs in México. All ingredients are fresh, natural, local and organic. The sleeping cabana experience is enhanced without electricity allowing the illumination of oil lamps and candles leaving behind the tedious demands of our electronic age. The cabanas are designed to create a simple and natural but elegant space which offers comfort and coziness with beautiful and architecturally original bathrooms open to the jungle but providing complete privacy. Scattered across the beautiful tropical hillside, each individual cabaña offers exceptional views of the ocean and jungle canopy. Each cabaña is situated to offer privacy and seclusion while still taking advantage of the spectacular views.

Cabanas:

The cabañas have been designed with your comfort in mind. Enjoy the rustic luxury of any one of the spacious cabañas, which feature comfortable beds with hand woven sheets, gauzy sheer curtains to filter the sunlight and oil lamps and candles for softly lit evenings. Most cabañas have private hammocks for lazy afternoon naps.

Each cabaña has its own unique and individually designed private bathroom with hot water, monogrammed towels and an open air shower with a view.

Dormitory:

The  dormitory has been designed to accommodate up to 8 people in a shared bedroom with 2 bathroom facilities. You will enjoy the same features of our cabañas but in a large open room with individual beds for each person.

The wellness center offers sheer indulgence and exquisite pampering to compliment your stay with our wide selection of services. Take advantage of the variety of massage styles that we offer – traditional Japanese, deep tissue, Swedish, reflexology, Shiatsu, therapeutic, Chi Nei Tsang, Thai and many more. Acupuncture, manicures, pedicures, body scrubs and facials are also available.

Payments:

A $300 deposit is due to secure your space. The deposit is refundable for two weeks after booking. After that, non-refundable. 

The remaining will be split into 3 payments. The first payment is due September 14, 2022.  The second is due November 16, 2022. The third is due February 15th 2023 . Additional payment dates added to payment plan available.

Cancelations:

$300 deposit non-refundable two weeks after booking. Non-refundable at all if booked after March 1. Additional payments refundable before December 1. 50% before February 1 2023, no refund after.

The closest airport is Puerto Vallarta (PVR) which is 40 minutes from the resort. We will assist and schedule shuttle transfer. Transportation shuttles are available between the airport and Haramara. The Arrival Shuttle is $90.00 USD for one to four people sharing the shuttle. There is an additional charge of $5.00 USD for each additional person up to seven. The Departure Shuttle is $65.00 USD for one to four people sharing the shuttle. There is an additional charge of $5.00 USD for each additional person up to seven. The total charge for each shuttle will be prorated per person based on the number of people sharing the shuttle. You will need to pay cash for your transportation shuttles directly to the shuttle driver.
