About this trip
Bandon, Oregon is home to the most dramatic range of weather beaten sea stacks on the west coast. This display of towering rock formations remind us of the power of water and time, and provides photographers with incredible vistas to capture. We will stay just steps from the beach, and will explore and photograph Bandon, and the surrounding coastline for sunrises, sunsets, waves, piers and lighthouses during this favorite workshop!

EUG Eugene, OR Int’l Airport, 2.5 hours
MFR Rogue Valley OR Airport, 3 hours

Fitness Level: Easy > Moderate
Walking along the beaches in Oregon are considered easy. Bandon sits on a cliff overlooking the beach. There are 3 areas to enter the beach with stairs. You must be able to go up and down these tall staircases and cary your equipment.

Day 1
AUG 23
Meet & Greet 7:00pm Bandon Beach, Oregon
Day 2
AUG 24
We begin the day at Bandon Beach, just a short walk from our hotel. Photograph early morning light on the sea stacks, then head to Bandon for coffee and breakfast. We will explore and photograph coastal locations in the afternoon and finish with a sunset behind the dramatic sea stacks of Bandon Beach.
Day 3
AUG 25
Another morning at one of the 3 most photographic spots on Bandon Beach, followed by our trek to one of Bandon’s excellent cafés. Tidal pools, seascapes and sunset photography at nearby beaches.
Day 4
AUG 26
We will start the day with a sunrise at nearby Lighthouse, and spend time working on long exposure photography with waves before heading into Bandon for our favorite part of the day, breakfast. Sunset along one of the incredible seascapes of Bandon.
Day 5
AUG 27
Our final morning at the beach, and a short walk from our hotel. Of course, we will go to breakfast!
