Super interesting diving experiences with so much marine life. Swimming surrounded from head to toe by a school of fish. Manta ray. Sharks. School of rays above. Moray eels, seahorse. Everything is there.  
Ines, Jessica, Lucas, and Nicolas are so professional and friendly. Systematic reviews of details and dives. Proactive and attentive to details... and patient with my Spanish.

Mother Nature did not cooperate Rough ride for some of the people.  
Unfortunately Be Water staff convinced us to switch from Monday to Tuesday letting us know that we were the only ones booked.   Turned out to be a full boat on Tuesday too and not great conditions. 
Low visibility, dozens of jellyfish stings and not much for fish.   
Not a top 10 experience, unfortunately! 

The team was very nice and friendly, passionate by the marine life. We had the chance to swim with many mantas, see lots of fishes and some small sharks.

I went on four dives with be water diving and both were amazing. All the instructors and crew were great and really knowledgeable, couldn’t recommend more!

Great attention to detail and support with your equipment.  Friendly and knowledgeable.  Costa Rica in February is cold and cloudy water.  But we still was so many wonderful things: rays of all sizes, eels, octopus, starfish, urchins, fish, dolphins, whales and more.


2 fun dives 2 pax 25 and 27 Feb 

Everyone from the reservation desk to the boat, to the dive masters were very welcoming, friendly and did an amazing job!!


Very knowledgeable and very caring instructors took us and our children ages 11 and 15 on a snorkel tour. The kids were hesitant at first because the water can be rough, but they put us all at ease. While snorkeling, the instructors pointed out various fish, starfish, we even saw rays and one reef shark.  It was a very enjoyable experience.  

We had a great time diving with Nicolas and his crew. They are very attentive to the divers needs and request. My wife likes to do underwater photography so the DMs and instructors were patiently waiting to make sure she had great shots.
They also are managing the dives very safely, which is the most important aspect of every dive!
I highly recommend if you dive around Tamarindo!

Very warm welcome by the staff, prompt departure, thorough safety briefing. Water was a bit choppy, but boat captain did a good job of avoiding bigger waves. Very enjoyable experience!

We had a great dive with Be Water. Luca was an excellent guide and we got a really solid dive brief. The whole team was fun and to top it off we got to see a manta, a bull shark and an eagle ray on the dives.

Had a great time taking the Open Water Diver course. Instructors made me feel safe and prepared while leading fun dives showing the vibrant ocean life.

I did the fun dive package with Be - 2 dives. The equipment was good and our diving guide Luca was great. The boat captain and rest of the group were very good too. I felt quite comfortable with the crew , even though I was diving by myself.

Lovely people to snorkel with, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Doesn't matter about your level of experience, they cater for everyone.

We had an excellent diving experience from start to finish. The dive masters were outstanding - professional, patient, and incredibly attentive. Two of the divers in our group were doing Discover Scuba dives, and the dive master did an amazing job with them. They explained everything clearly, kept the experience calm and fun, and both new divers caught on quickly and were comfortable in the water almost immediately.

Overall, it was a fantastic outing, and I would highly recommend this operation to anyone, whether you’re a first-time diver or already certified.

We had a wonderful time with Be Water diving! My partner did a discovery dive and I did a fun dive (being certified myself), so he did the first dive with one other discovery diver and a divemaster while I joined a group of experienced divers, and we were able to do the second dive together. He was a bit nervous but Luis took great care of him and he loved it! Lucas was wonderful with my group as well. The Catalinas were beautiful, we saw reef sharks, eagle rays, an octopus, several different cool eels, and each swam within giant schools of fish... Great experience on the boat too, we saw dolphins and even 2 humbpack whales! Highly recommend!

We are returning customers at Be water.  It is always an amazing adventure, boat tour and  diving.  The team is always super nice and the safety is their priority.  Catalinas islands always surprise us, this time with rays, and dolphins making a show on our way there.  Strongly  recommend. Pura Vida 

La experiencia de buceo ha sido normal porque esto del mar es así. Mucha vida marina y peces pero veníamos esperando buena visibilidad y ver mantas pero no ha podido ser. Es pronto siendo enero. Tendremos que volver. 
La experiencia con el centro ha sido inmejorable. Tanto la recepción, trato, equipo, explicaciones y conocimientos del guía y asistentes han sido geniales. Los equipos han funcionado a la perfección. La embarcación es segura y bien preparada. Todo perfecto y recomendable. 

Muy buen buceo, vimos rayas, tiburones y mucha vida. Los guías muy amables. Toda la experiencia estuvo excelente!!!

2 Fun dives Jan 2nd 

Great time snorkelling! Fresh fruit, cold drinks, and good cake for snacks. Friendly guides.

Everyone was friendly and attentive. They provided a lot of information about the tour. I went with my 2 kids; The staff made me feel safe and took great care of my 6 and 8 year old- even the captain helped out my little one to feel safe and have fun. We went to two dive sites- spent enough time in each.  I recommend the tour. 

We had a fantastic experience! The dive Masters were amazing and very professional and knowledgeable. We had our two adult children with us and they had never been diving before and they were able to have an amazing experience as well. I highly recommend Be dive in Tamarindo for your diving experience in Costa Rica. !!!

The highlight of the trip was the dive/snorkel instructors. They were extremely patient, knowledgeable and friendly! We had some issues with the snorkelers in our party and they were so accommodating and helpful!

I’d give the entire staff 5 stars, from getting gear to loading on and off the boat, and Magda was a great guides water conditions were cloudy so visibility was not great but I can understand why people love snorkeling around the Catalina’s. We saw a reef shark!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They all strived to ensure a fun, safe and memorable experience for all guests.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We saw lots of fish, a spotted devil ray, starfish, dolphins and leather back turtles. It was a beautiful, safe, and fun experience. 

I dove with Be Water Scuba for a 1-day dive at Isle Santa Catalina.  It was a nice 45-minute boat ride to the dive site.  The guides provided a great briefing and a nice, relaxed dive.  

This was my first time diving and I was slightly nervous. I was immediately put at ease with Lucas, who not only was a great instructor but a reassuring person to dive with. He made sure that everything was thoroughly covered in all the trainings before, during, and after the dives, and answered any questions I had. The dives were incredible! We saw such a range of life and Lucas was so great to point everything out to me while underwater. Thank you so much for all your help and good vibes and excited for the next one! 

Basic diver course Han 20/9

Absolutely incredible experience! The instructors were amazing — they made me feel completely comfortable and calm underwater, which allowed me to truly enjoy every moment. It felt safe, exciting, and genuinely life-changing. The little touches, like fresh coconut drinks and pineapple between dives, made the day even more special. I can’t recommend this enough — a solid 10/10!

Wow, what a great company! I really enjoyed the entire experience. From the very first contact over WhatsApp—where the BeWater team was quick to respond and very helpful—to the actual diving itself, everything was perfect.

I booked three discovery dives for my wife and two daughters, as well as a dive trip for myself. Luca, my dive instructor, was extremely kind and made sure I had all the information I needed during our boat trip. The kids also received clear instructions, and I must admit—I was even more excited about their dive than my own. And I was not disappointed! Neither by my dive, nor by the enthusiasm the kids showed after their very first dive.

I was able to join my wife and kids for their second dive, and switching groups was no problem at all. As I said, really wonderful people.
Result: my kids now want to go for their certification!

We had a great time. Got to see some amazing things. Costa Rica was probably the best diving I have done and I have been to some pretty amazing places. Hueso was an amazing dive master and helped us with everything!

My daughter and I had a fantastic 2 dives.  We had so much fun and the guide was excellent at spotting things for us! My daughter’s husband did the try scuba and all 3 of us were able to dive together.  It was so memorable.  Her husband decided not to do the second dive because he was having a lot of trouble equalizing so decided to go on the snorkel with the other group.  There must have been a miscommunication because he got left by the snorkel group and then the boat took off, too.  Not really sure what happened but that didn’t turn out too well.  However, the dive guide was awesome with him!!

El tour de snorkel fue excelente. Lucas nos hizo sentir seguros y pasarla muy bien y el capitán Jordi se encargó de encontrar un buen spot para que bajemos a ver muchas especies. Lo recomiendo 100%!

We had a great time diving with Be Water Diving. They were helpful, knowledge and fun. They made our first open water diving experience wonderful. Lucas and his crew were the best, we will definitely come dive with them when we we're back in Costa Rica. I cannot say enough nice things about them.

Great snorkeling trip. I had heard mixed reviews about snorkeling in the summer in CR, but we saw a ton of beautiful fish and our guide Whistle was extremely knowledgeable about the aquatic life. It was the best part of our whole visit! 

Lucas and Katie were amazing! It was the first time our family of five dove together and we had a blast. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to do a great dive with great people!

Fun dive for certified divers in Catalina Islands

We were a group of 15 in Tamarindo for a family reunion, and the Be Water team was excellent in providing us with a great day of snorkeling and diving. They provided a private boat for us, two snorkeling and one diving instructor, and were professional, courteous and always looking out for our safety. I would definitely recommend Nicolas and his team to anyone wanting a good diving and snorkeling experience in Tamarindo

Had such a great time scuba diving with the Be Water crew. Incredible vibes and they have a lot of knowledge about all the skills which made me feel at ease being underwater with my guide. I would definitely recommend this crew to anyone from complete beginner like me to a more experienced diver looking for cool people to go with. Also the locations they had were very cool and we got to see a lot of different things in the water such as sharks, rays, eels, octopus, and of course lots of different fish.

Everyone there was so helpful. Great, quick communication. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The hospitality was unmatched. Lolo was an amazing snorkel guide. He went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed and provided an excellent experience. He helped us with our go pro footage and made sure to point out wildlife for us. Would recommend with confidence. 

SNORKELING IN TAMARINDO

Such a great group of Snorkel/Scuba instructors. Kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Very beautiful adventure and great way to see more of what Costa Rica has to offer! I, unfortunately, am prone to sea sickness every now and then, and it was one of those days for me. They took such good care and consideration to make sure I felt taken care of and also had an amazing time still!

My husband and I had a great experience diving with Luis.  We did 2 morning dives near the Catalina Islands.  Our group was 4 certified divers and Luis.  Everything was well run and safe.  We saw turtles, eels, sharks, huge schools of fish, a ray, and more.  Highly recommend diving with Be Water.
