You've held everyone else. Now it's time to be held.
For six years, Be Morr has been a home for women ready to breathe again, and this March, we're opening our doors for the 7th time. Each retreat has taught us a little more about what it means to truly hold space for Women of Color, and we can't wait to welcome you into this one.
Our retreats give Women of Color permission to heal out loud, together. Here, women who are often overlooked get to be seen. Women who carry too much get to set it down. Women who've felt alone find sisters waiting with open arms. be Morr is made by us, for us and there's a seat here with your name on it.
You'll be held by licensed mental health professionals who've built their lives work around empowering women through mind and body wellness, so you can simply arrive and let yourself be cared for.
Come as you are. Leave aligned.
Over these six days, you'll wander through workshops, gentle movement, and quiet moments of connection, all wrapped in nourishing conversation and the kind of sisterhood that feels like it's been waiting for you.
We're doing it Costa Rica style because Pura Vida isn't just a phrase here, it's a rhythm. Slower. Softer. More present. We're borrowing that rhythm and building six days entirely around you. Expect a program as thoughtful as it is nourishing: hands-on activities, movement that feels good in your body, meditation that quiets the noise, and so much more, all guided by facilitators who understand exactly why this space matters.
Seven retreats in, and one thing remains the same: every woman who comes leaves lighter, fuller, and more herself. This March, that woman could be you.
Once you sign up, you'll receive everything you need to start.
After a full day of movement, workshops and connection, your room is where you land. Rooms are thoughtfully appointed and set within the jungle property with a panoramic ocean view, designed for genuine rest and relaxation.

Who is this for?
This is for the woman who is feeling overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or looking to further their healing. We invite all women who are ages 18+ and identify as Black, Indigenous, Women Of Color.
Please note: The retreat center requires daily walking and the use of stairs, so a level of comfort with movement and light physical activity is encouraged.
How do I get here?
Fly into San José International Airport (SJO). You'll arrange your own flights and lodging for the night of March 1st. From there, we've got you.
On March 2nd, the group travels together up to the retreat center in Uvita. We'll pick everyone up at specific shuttle points around San José (more details on exact locations shared with those that book), then it's about a 4.5-hour ride together, with stops along the way as needed.
So the short version: get yourself to San José on the 1st, and we'll take it from there, sis!
Is Costa Rica safe?
Yes! Costa Rica is one of the most stable and safe countries in Central America, and a top destination for solo and group travel. Like anywhere, we recommend the usual common-sense travel habits (keeping an eye on your belongings, traveling with the group during transfers, etc.), but you can feel at ease.
What's included?
Everything under “What's Included” below, plus your group bus transfer between San José and Uvita, and all taxes and fees. Excluded: airfare, your March 1st night in San José, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and any spa treatments or excursions outside what's listed as included.
Do I need to book my own hotel for March 1st?
Yes, sis. You'll arrange your own lodging for the night of March 1st in San José, ahead of our group departure on the 2nd.
Don't worry, you won't be figuring it out blind. Once you book your spot, we'll share our preferred stays and recommended hotels to make it easy. And if you're looking to keep costs down, some people choose to split an Airbnb with other participants, that's totally an option too, just arranged among yourselves.
Can I share a room with someone else?
Yes! Sharing saves you money on your trip total. If you book a shared room without a roommate, we'll pair you with another solo traveler. Traveling with a friend? Tell us her name at booking so you're paired together. Prefer your own space? Choose the single-room option.
What if I change my mind?
All trips may be canceled for a full refund, without deposit, by November 15th, 2026. All other cancellations after that date will be NON-REFUNDABLE.
Are all the experiences mandatory?
We are all about listening to our body and mind! Everything is optional, and we highly encourage you to take it slow whenever you feel like you need to. If you would like to replace certain experiences with others, please let us know. An extra fee may apply!
How many people are staying in a shared room with me?
All multiple occupancy rooms will be occupied by a max. of 2 people.
It's my first time on a retreat, will I feel out of place or awkward?
Our retreats attract first-timers and retreat veterans alike. The magic is in how quickly our group bonds. Within 24 hours, you'll feel like you've known these women forever. We create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone belongs.
Is this therapy?
No. This is a wellness retreat facilitated by licensed mental health professionals. The workshops we deliver are psychoeducational and experiential, not clinical treatment, and attending does not create a therapist–client relationship.
What's the weather like in March?
March is Costa Rica's dry season so it is mostly sunny, warm (75–90°F), & one of the best months of the year on the Pacific coast.
Do I need a passport or visa?
Your passport should be valid for 6+ months beyond your travel dates. U.S. citizens don't need a visa for stays under 90 days.
