Join elite Guides to reach the summit of the UK's highest peak, Ben Nevis.

Elite Guides Offers Ben Nevis Group Walks (Winter) on any day of the week via the Mountain Path from November to May. The cost for this starts at £330 for a group of 1-2 people, with the price increasing with the number of participants. Maximum 6 per guide.

This walk starts and finishes at the Ben Nevis Visitors Centre in Glen Nevis and the meeting time for the walk is 8 am. Though we can start at a different time should you wish.

There is a parking charge of £8 per day for a car if you are driving, public transport links and plenty of local taxi firms are available for the short drive from Fort William.

Here is a full kit list for the day:

• B2 or B3 Winter walking boots*

• Waterproof jacket and trousers.

• Socks.

• Baselayers are to be worn next to the skin. (not cotton)

• Comfortable walking trousers. (not jeans)

• Warm mid-layers. At least two, one to wear and one as an emergency layer.

• Hats and gloves.

• Head torch.

• A small personal first aid kit. Plasters etc.

• A flask and/or drinks bottle, 1L should be enough.

• A rucksack. Anything larger than a 30L pack will do and a waterproof liner

• An orange emergency survival bag.

• Crampons*

• Ice axe*

* - These items can be hired locally if needed.
