Tour Manager Gratuity
The gratuity for your Best of Times Travel Tour Manager is not included in your package. A suggested amount is $75 - $100 per person for the entire cruise.
Since our company’s founding in 1974, we have been providing our customers with memories of a lifetime, through our travel and entertainment based programs.
Overall, we enjoyed the show but I must say it was very disappointing at the beginning. I was told in an email that tickets would be available at the venue rather than mailed to me. But I could not find a time for the show to begin anywhere, so I called Best of Times the day before to tell me the time for arrival AND to clarify that my tickets would be available at the event. Nobody answered the phone, so I left a voicemail explaining the situation and nobody ever returned my call. Very disappointing!!! Finally, I called Castleton and they told me the doors would open at 11:00. Upon arrival to the show, I noticed that almost everyone already HAD their tickets, and I could not find anybody associated with the Merrimack Senior Center (the organization listed on my booking receipt) to get my tickets from. The lobby was a very chaotic scene and nobody seemed to be in charge of tickets. So my 90-year-old mom (whose Christmas present this was!) and I wait and wait and wait, and wait while everyone else files into the room to sit down and start eating lunch. Finally, when almost everyone had already been seated, I approached the lady at the door with my printed receipt in hand and she said, "Oh I think my husband has your tickets" and off she goes to find him. Then she comes back and tells me the table number we are sitting at and escorts us to the table. We finally sat down around 12:15 after arriving shortly after 11:00. All of this could have been avoided if somebody had just given us the tickets! I never received or saw our tickets and I STILL can't understand why no attempt was made to dispense them to us earlier and save us all of the aggravation of waiting around and wondering where our tickets can be found? Best of Tines -or whoever was responsible - can do better than this!!!
It was a very good program. There were several people without actual tickets. This resulted in confusion and waiting. No one could tell us what was wrong. Apparently, they setup another table way in the back outside of the group. I didnt like this situation and will need actual ticket confirmation if there is a next time.
The bus driver was great.
The food was great, Tony Bennett was wonderful but did not care for Lady Gaga. I thought she was a bit sickening. I’ve been to other shows that you had and were wonderful.
We all enjoyed the show. Food was very good also. If we had a complaint it would have been the comfort of the chairs. Looking forward to booking another show.
