About this trip

Do you love bhakti and kirtan — but sometimes feel like an outsider?
Does it feel foreign… or like you don’t know enough to really belong?

This Training is Here to Support You!

You’re not alone... So many sincere seekers feel this way — they’re drawn to the music, the mantras, the devotion… but quietly wonder if they’re doing it ‘right.’

I know that feeling intimately. Even after years on the path, I’ve felt moments of hesitation, feeling like an imposter or like I didn’t know enough. But bhakti isn’t about being perfect, memorizing every mantra, or following a rigid mold. It’s about opening your heart. It’s about showing up as you are and letting the practice meet you there.

That’s why I created the Bhakti Embodiment Training — a safe, supportive space to root your devotion in a way that feels authentic to you.

Can I Support You?

Join me, Ananda Das, this summer in Sedona for a 7-day immersion into living, breathing bhakti.

In this training you'll gain:

A Consistent Daily Practice – No more struggling with discipline.
Confidence in Chanting & Singing – Find your devotional voice.
Practical Rituals & Techniques – Easily integrate Bhakti into daily life.
A Supportive Bhakti Community – Find spiritual connection and support.
A Recharged, Inspired Heart – Return home fully aligned with your practice.

The Core Aspects of Bhakti Embodiment:

Each day of this 7-day immersion is carefully designed to help you not just learn devotion — but to embody it through sound, movement, ritual, and direct experience.

Mantra Japa – Cultivate focus and devotion with daily chanting.
Bhakti Meditation & Visualizations – Experience deeper divine connection.
Puja & Rituals – Learn step-by-step sacred ceremonies for daily life.
Daily Yoga (Themed to Deities) – Embody devotion through movement.
Singing & Song Circles – Awaken confidence in your voice.
Evening Kirtans – Open your heart through communal chanting.
Sedona Vortex Outings – Meditate in powerful sacred sites.

Why Choose This Training?

🔹 You’re not just looking for another retreat.

You want a space that helps you anchor your devotion into your daily life — not just during the training, but beyond it.

🔹 You’re ready to deepen your path.

You’ve experienced glimpses of bhakti… but now you’re longing for structure, consistency, and deeper embodiment. This training gives you the tools, rhythm, and support to sustain your devotional practice for the long term.

🔹 You’re craving more than concepts.

This isn’t a philosophy-heavy course. It’s direct experience — through chanting, movement, breath, ritual, and sacred community. It’s how devotion moves from idea… to integration.

🔹 You want to feel like you belong.

Whether you’re brand new to kirtan or have been on the path for years, this is a space of non-judgment, authenticity, and sacred connection. We celebrate your unique voice and expression.

🔹 You want to embody devotion — not just talk about it.

Bhakti Embodiment is a return to the living experience of the divine:
in your body, your breath, your voice, your relationships, your rituals.

🔹 You’re ready to stop holding back.

Your voice is sacred. Your longing is valid. Your practice matters.
This training will help you move through resistance and into confidence, clarity, and creativity.

Why Ananda Das As Your Guide?

My greatest joy is helping others awaken their voice, deepen their practice, and anchor their devotion into a meaningful, daily rhythm that supports the heart and soul.

As you may know, I'm a seasoned kirtan leader, yoga teacher, and founder of the Modern Bhakti Yoga Academy. For over 15 years, I've been guiding others in devotional practice through mantra, music, movement, and sacred ritual. With 17 mantra albums released and a global community of students, I've seen how powerful this path becomes when it’s truly embodied. I don’t just teach bhakti — I live it.

Testimonial

“Best training I've ever done! Truly encapsulated the meaning of embodiment with the flow from morning asana, to japa meditation, space and time to integrate, and rounded out with ritual and musical merriment. The depth of knowledge and skill Ananda Das has in sharing these teachings is priceless!” Laura Erickson (Founder of Kula Yoga Festival and Owner of Kula Yoga Studio & Yoga Teacher)
