I did not get to go! Had to return home for an emergency. Hope it was great! If any cost savings were had, would love a partial rebate. Looking forward to another time

The itinerary was excellent covering a variety of different places mixing birding and nature with cultural and historical sites. The operator was flexible to adjust our tour start and end points as necessary which was much appreciated.

We had a great trip with many special birds in the central Andes of Peru, moving from Huanuco's forests to Junin Lake to the high Andes between Junin and Lima. Logistitics worked well, and our birding guide Juan was excellent, and we own many of our best birds to his persistence and knowledge. The itinerary and the birds we were after did create some demands, such as birding at high altitudes some days (3600-4200 masl), and with the best available accommodation only adequate at some of the smaller towns we needed to stay in to be near the birds. Overall we had great birding at hotspots like the Carpish Tunnel, Bosque Unchog, Junin Lake, the Marcopomacocha Pass and the Santa Eulalia Valley, making a final stop for a productive boat trip at dusk around the Isla Pucusana for seabirds.

Covered some great distances and altitude changes, but we're rewarded with some great birds! Don't expect posh hotels in the remote areas, because there are none. But staying nearby the hotspots cut out a lot of extra travel and helped us see more. Tiring trip, but grateful for the planning and our excellent guide.

Lizbet and Gunnar organised our trip to Peru and ensured everything is in order. Any apprehensions I had before the trip evaporated the day we landed in Peru. Lizbet has ensured we had a seamless trip by taking care of all the logistics and I cannot thank her enough for such a wonderful planning. All the drivers we had were very caring and understanding and this added to the beauty of the trip. They were very accommodative to our requests and flexible to change the plans as needed. I am, ,rather, we are happy, to have chosen Kolibri for our trip to Peru. Thanks again to both of you and hoping to undertake another trip with Kolibri in the near future. Thanks, Suren
