About your trip

Embark on an amazingly scenic hike through a glacially carved mountain canyon of the Bitterroot Mountains with an expert guide who will identify wild edible berries and plants along the way. Learn more than just plants! Learn about how the bitterroot mountains formed, a bit about the cultural history of the Bitterroot, and about its inhabitants through the years! All rental gear, snacks, and hot/cold beverages included with each ticket.


More Details About This Trip:

This trip is great for any able-bodied traveler, but those expecting to move at a quick pace or slow pace should book a private excursion! Expect a moderate amount of elevation gain, (at least 500 ft) occasional obstacles like fallen trees!

The weather is tough to predict and conditions will vary from the forecast. Bring warm layers and rain jackets/ponchos!

Your expert guide is Wilderness First Responder Certified, Leave No Trace Certified, and Food-Handler Certified.


 3 - 4 hrs total

Guide Carries:
- Packrafting gear for the first two adult tickets booked on each trip.
- First aid
- Garmin GPS communicator
- Water filtration
- Toiletries kit
- Other necessities

All tours require a two ticket minimum. Solo travelers are welcome to join public groups! Solo travelers that book two tickets and end up hiking with others are refunded for the 2nd ticket!
