In March, Botswana enjoys warm weather during the day with a nice cooling breeze in the evenings, making it perfect for outdoor adventures amidst its stunning landscapes. 

Arrival/Departure: 

Your trip begins and ends in Maun, Botswana.

Arrival Day: Please schedule to arrive at the Maun International Airport by 2:00pm.  You will be met by a Great Plains representative to escort you to your gate for departing to the Selinda Concession.

Departure Day: Please schedule your international departure to be after 2:00pm.

You’ve made it! After your long journey to Maun, Botswana, you will arrive at Maun International Airport before 2:00pm on arrival day where a VIP Group meet and greet will be ready for you at baggage claim to escort you to the gate for our flight to the Duba Plains Concession.

We will arrive at the Duba Explorers Camp in time for our evening game drive.  Game drives are an exhilarating experience where you board specially designed vehicles, accompanied by knowledgeable guides, to observe and encounter the diverse and majestic African wildlife in their natural habitats.

Following our first safari game drive we will return to the lodge for an incredible dinner and drinks.

When on safari the game drives are typically early in the morning and in the late afternoon.

In the early morning we will head out on our game drive or partake in a water activity (water level dependent).

Breakfast will be served in the lodge after we return from the Bush or we will have a packed breakfast while we are out on our adventure.

Late morning & early afternoon is at leisure. You can choose to schedule a spa treatment, explore the lodge, see about other activities the lodge provides, or enjoy cocktails by the pool (if weather permits).

There will be a lunch and tea served during the day prior to the evening game drive.

In the late afternoon we will depart on our evening game drive to continue our adventure. 

Dinner and drinks will be served at the lodge when we return from the game drive.

Say goodbye to the beautiful Duba Plains as we depart for Zarafa Camp in the Selinda Concession.

After a short flight we will arrive at the ultra luxury five star Zafara Camp for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation before we proceed to our evening game drive. 

Dinner and drinks will be served at the lodge when we return from the game drive.

In the early morning we will head out on our game drive.

While we are exploring the African Bush in search of the Big Five, we will stop to stretch our legs and enjoy a coffee or tea out of the vehicle. Breakfast will be served in the lodge after we return from the Bush or we will have a packed breakfast while we are out on our adventure.

Late morning & early afternoon is at leisure. You can choose to schedule a spa treatment, explore the lodge, see about other activities the lodge provides, or enjoy cocktails by the pool (if weather permits).

There will be a lunch and tea served during the day prior to the evening game drive.

In the late afternoon we will depart on our evening game drive to continue our adventure. Towards the end of the game drive we will stop for a “sun downer”. A sundowner is a so-called safari-inspired happy hour while enjoying the sunset at a beautiful spot in the African bush.

Dinner and drinks will be served at the lodge when we return from the game drive.

Today we say goodbye to beautiful Botswana.  We will enjoy breakfast and our last experience in the bush prior to catching our flight back to Maun International Airport.
