Heather and I are so excited to finally host a retreat at the beautiful Bodhi Tree Resort in Nosara, Costa Rica. Located on the Pacific Coast, Nosara is known for it's long surf break, beautiful beaches and deep cultural appreciation of all things yoga and wellness.

Spend a week practicing vinyasa, restorative and pranayama to reconnect with your deepest inspirations and intentions. There wil be plenty of free time to relax, read, explore and soak in all that this special place has to offer.

Nosara is located in the beautiful province of Guanacaste in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. Nicoya is considered one of the Blue Zones areas where cultures have evolved to prolong the longevity of human life. Life expectancies of Nicoya residents easily surpass 100 years of age with a population far older than the rest of the country.

Nosara boasts a drive for ecotourism, sustainability and recycling like no other town in the country. This sets the perfect example of a planned developed community. The natural beauty, way of life and vibe became a dream come true for hundreds of families that chose to live a tranquil and relaxed life. Parents have the opportunity to immerse their children in a more organic way of living in nature. Showing respect and loving nature becomes one of the most important parts of life. Being woken up by monkeys; eating healthy and real food, playing outside, enjoying wonderful bilingual private school options and learning to respect different cultures, the children grow up with a real sense of life.

Yoga & Surfing culture is huge and a significant component of this town. You will see that people are either carrying a surf board or a yoga mat in their arms. Nosara has been called one of the world’s 20 best surf towns. With a diversity of waves in the area, it invites world-class surfers, novice and intermediate surfers to enjoy the magical and consistent waves year round. There are a variety of fitness options all over town. If you are not a surfer or a yogi, you don’t have to worry! There are plenty of adventure activities around like ATV tours, Zip Lining, Horseback Riding, Stand Up Paddling, Kayak and much more.

Deposits secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable. All payments are non refundable. 

Nobody books a retreat with the intention of canceling, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. 

Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, or for arriving late or leaving early. Thanks for understanding.

• To get to Nosara from the US, you can either fly to the main airport in San Jose, Juan Santamaria International Airport OR you can fly to Liberia's airport, Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport.
• From both locations, there are inexpensive (around $100/$150) national flights to Nosara.
• The flight from San Jose to Nosara is appx 45 minutes and the flight from Liberia to Nosara is appx 20-30 minutes
• www.flysansa.com flies multiple times per day from San Jose to Nosara.
• From Liberia Airport, there are shuttles and taxis available for hire and can be pre arranged for your transportation to Nosara. The drive can take appx 2.5 hours and it's more expensive (to hire a car as a single passenger than it is to fly).
• Please make sure your passport is up to date !
