Join Derek and Stacey Edinger, co-owners of Brewery Ardennes, as we take a brasserie tour of Belgium and France, taking in the sights and flavors of Flanders, Mons, and Brussels!

Experience 8 days and 7 nights in the UNESCO Heritage city of Ghent, the fortress city of Mons, and the European Capital of Brussels. Derek will be collaborating with Xavier Bailleux of Brasserie Au Baron to create a beer on our trip! 

A perfect trip for the seeker of fantastic beers and incredible food, or if you’re a history-buff looking to explore Belgian culture. The shopping is top notch as well!

With four-star accommodations, incredible breakfasts, walking tours of all the cities we visit, you are guaranteed a great time with fun and convivial group of fellow travelers.

We meet at 7:00 AM at Brewery Ardennes to catch a charter bus to Montreal with a stop at TBD for lunch before heading to the airport!

Nonstop Air Canada Flight from Montreal YUL to Brussels BRU leaving at 6:40 PM and arriving in Belgium at 7:55 AM (Belgian Local Time) the next day. (6 hour 15 minute flight)

Arrive in Brussels at 7:55 AM.

From there we catch a private Coach to Ghent.

After dropping off our bags and grabbing breakfast, we will head out on a walking tour of the beautiful city of Ghent!

Later in the day we will have few beers at Dok Brewing to discuss jet lag with each other.

Today we venture off to our Flanders brewery tour, first Omer Van Der Ghinste in the morning, one of Flanders older offerings, then after lunch on Bustronomie we head to T’Verzet a newer, fresh offering on the Belgian beer landscape.

This morning we head to the adult Disneyland of Bruges! We begin with a walking tour starting at the Grote Markt, then the rest of the day at your leisure to take in the canals, museums, and cafes of this beautiful medieval town.

In the morning we head south to Mons!

We begin with a brewery tour of TBD (Du Pont, St Fueillen) then head over to meet Xavier and Derek as they finish brewing their collab at French Brasserie Au Baron!

Open day in Mons! A European gem with great food, a charming city center, and plenty of foodie experiences.

A UNESCO Belfry anchors the city at the Trouille and Haine rivers. Along with Plzen (where HS is headed next June), Mons was named a City of Culture in 2015.

After breakfast, we head north and after a quick photo stop at the Atomium we jaunt over to Brasserie De La Senne for tour and tasting.

Afterwards we check in at the Marriott Bourse and meet up later for optional drinks with Alec at Surrealiste! Night Spent at Marriott Grand Place Bourse

10 AM Optional tour of the classic Cantillion!

Enjoy the cosmopolitan delights of the European capital on your own! Museums, restaurants, and of course incredible beer options abound.

For the more adventurous; Paris and Koln are possible day trips via train. Just be sure to catch the second-last train back to Brussels!

10 AM flight back to Montreal YUL arriving at 12:45 PM. From there, a chartered bus to Brewery Ardennes with a brewery stop somewhere in New York or Quebec on our way back.

We should be back Brewery Ardennes by 8:00 pm.
