Overall excellent experience. We were group of 9. We had 2 guides. The main guide was local woman, very nice but was non english speaking. 2nd guide was a college student who acted as a translator and had great attitude. Prior to the trip , we did not have lot of information about how to prepare for the trip from the organizers. We went with whats on the internet which was useful. Ask for a english speaking guide if possible. Impulse travel picked us up from Santa Marta and generally took good care of us. The trip is moderately difficult but made more difficult due to extreme humidity and heat. It was great that we started early in the day to avoid the peak temperatures. Food provided was clean, healthy and nutritious. Our cook was excellent. We were glad we hired a mule to carry extra weight for us since we were all 50+ and were cautious about our back. The trek to Ciudad Perdida was totally worth it and the view was 10 times better than pictures. The 1200 steps in the end were hard but manageable to climb up. Coming down was dangerous and slippery. Accommodations at the camp were comfy and we were glad to have mosquito nets. Cold Showers and toilets were clean. Memorable experience even though it was in the remote part of Colombia and most people don't know about this hike. Thank you Impulse travel...

Gildardo provided an excellent tour of the Bogota highlights. He is very knowledgeable and eager to share the history and culture of Colombia. He and the driver were right on time and the two coordinated meet up locations very well so the van was always ready to take us to the next site.
