December in Ghana is legendary. Hailed as the Gateway to Africa, Ghana will be jam packed with cultural events from the North to the South. It's when the Diaspora comes home to enjoy activities that display the heartbeat of Africa - its music, art, food and culture. December is also the time when AfroFuture (formerly Afrochella takes place), AfroNation and the Black Star Line Festival take place. These annual festivals aims to tell the story of Africa through food, culture, music and fashion. It is a festival aimed at reconnecting the Diaspora to Ghana. Our tours are unique combination of culture and tradition. Party, yes, but imparting the culture and tradition are a must if you travel all the way to the Motherland. Your tour will be hosted and expertly guided by the founder of HIM Tours, Daniel Okpoti, a tourism professional with more than 20 years experience. A native of Ghana, Daniel is also an expert trader and jewelry designer. Let us handle the details so that your pilgrimage back home will be a trip that changes your life.
