You start your New Year in beautiful and incredibly biodiverse  Costa Rica - the perfect combination of adventure and serenity. You wake up to the sun peeking through the lush green jungle trees and the sound of chirping birds and playful howler monkeys. Take a short walk to the beach for an early morning swim in the warm Caribbean Sea or relax in a hammock before enjoying a rejuvenating morning yoga session and a fresh, delicious breakfast prepared specially for you by our own professional chef. 

Join Brooke and Jodye for 7 days and 6 nights in paradise to kick off the year with the tropical adventure you’ve been craving and the rest and relaxation you deserve. You’ll spend the week with like-minded people creating a vision for 2024. You’ll leave feeling connected to both yourself and your new-found community. 

Each day will consist of group yoga practices to move the body and calm the mind, along with three nourishing, delicious (and beautiful!) meals prepared on-site by our talented retreat chef. Enjoy a group snorkeling excursion through warm, crystal clear water to explore coral reefs and colorful marine life. Experience group hikes through the lush rainforest in nearby Cahuita National Park and waterfall swims at BriBri Falls. Spend your down-time connecting with the group or spending quality time with yourself by adding on a luxurious on-site massage, relaxing by the pool, or wandering around the beautiful retreat-center grounds landscaped with jungle trees and native Caribbean flowers.

Enjoy the freedom to pick and choose the activities you’d like to make this retreat exactly what you’re craving. Additional options include taking a surf lesson, visiting the black sand beach Playa Negra, or taking a short walk to the nearby town of Cahuita. 

Your home for the week is the beautiful, eco-boutique retreat center - Casa Firefly. Every room has a ceiling fan, AC, storage closet, ensuite bathroom, patio complete with chairs and a hammock, and comfortable beds. Choose between a room with a king bed or two single beds as availability lasts. Enjoy an on-site pool and yoga shala. Casa Firefly is nestled where the jungle meets the sea in perfect proximity to nearby activities. From the retreat center, you can take a five minute walk to the beach. It is a 30 minute walk (or five minute drive by taxi) to the nearby Cahuita National Park and the town of Cahuita, where you can experience local shopping and dining.  

Together we will start 2024 feeling connected and content. We will engage in a variety of yoga practices to bring you closer to the fulfillment of your vision for the year. We’ll practice asana (the physical practice of yoga), guided meditations, restorative pranayama/breathwork, and enjoy simple quality time. Let go of inherited beliefs. Nourish your mind and body while having fun!
