Join us for eight nights and seven full days as we explore the wine and food culture of Chile and Argentina.
In preparation for this trip, we ate and drank our way throughout the Santiago and Mendoza wine regions, meeting sommeliers and vintners, tasting a large variety of wines, visiting and touring many vineyards, and dining in a wide range of restaurants. As a result, this tour will treat travelers to an itinerary full of unique wine tastings, rich culinary experiences, and enlightening cultural sites.
Wineries & Vineyards ~
The trip includes over a dozen private wine tastings and winery visits including:
• a unique “blend your own” experience
• a wine tasting and empanada cooking class combination
• visits to the Chilean wine regions of Valle de Maipo, Valle de Aconcagua, and Valle de Casa Blanca
• visits to the Argentinian wine regions of Maipu and Valle de Uco
• both large production wineries and small boutique wineries with Concha y Toro, Errazuriz, Lopez
Pangue, Vigil Winery, and Huentala as just a few of the confirmed wineries – the full list of wineries on the itinerary will be released to travelers a month before the trip begins.
Culinary Experiences ~
Because this tour is focused on wine and food, we have included an unprecedented number of meals as part of the tour cost: 5 lunches and 1 dinner. In addition, we have secured reservations for the remaining meals at a wide range of restaurants for travelers’ consideration.
Accommodations ~
In Santiago, we stay at the boutique Casa Bueras Hotel located in the bohemian Lastarria neighborhood, full of wonderful restaurants, wine bars, parks, and shops.
In Mendoza, we stay in the contemporary Hualta Hotel located in the historic heart of the city, surroundedby great restaurants and just blocks from multiple plazas.
Whether you are a fine wine connoisseur with a large personal wine collection, or a novice who just enjoys wine – this trip is for anyone who loves wine and food!
All of our tours offer a wide variety of unique experiences while also providing chances for travelers to adjust the plans to match their desired speed and intensity.
