Chile Iconic Volcanoes Backcountry Ski Tour — a lift-free ski & snowboard expedition in Northern Patagonia exploring Lonquimay, Llaima, and Villarrica. Designed for strong intermediate to advanced riders, this guided adventure features human-powered ascents, wide volcanic terrain (25–35°), hot springs, premium lodges, and small groups led by certified local professionals (1:4 ratio).

Day 1 – Arrival in Temuco & Transfer to Malalcahuello

Arrival at Temuco airport 2 hour scenic ride to Malalcahuello to check in to the hotel Warm up laps at Corralco Ski Resort Welcome dinner

Day 2 – Lonquimay Volcano

This incredible volcano located in the Andean Araucania mountain range and with the Corralco ski resort at its side will undoubtedly be the highlight of this trip. It is possible to ski inside the crater, return to the summit and descend the 1500 meters of slope directly to the hot springs!

Day 3 – Sierra Nevada + Pehuenche Cultural Experience (Mapuches) Local natives

Day 4 – Llaima Volcano

A beautiful ascent with views over Conguillio National Park and ski down the stunning 3,125m Llaima volcano. Optional spa

Day 5 – Transfer to Pucon

3 hour drive to the adventure capital of Pucon Free afternoon Overnight at Aldea Naukana

Day 6 – Villarrica Volcano

The iconic volcano Villarrica is an active volcano that smokes from its summit 1,400 meters of elevation gain over terrain between 25 and 35 degrees. Ski descent includes forest skiing Lakeside sunset drinks

Day 7 – Optional Skiing in Quetrupillán Volcano

Option to ski Mocho-Choshuenco (2,422m / 7,950ft) for one final epic ski day. Alternatively, enjoy a day of relaxation, visiting waterfalls, national parks, or a boat ride on the lake. Farewell dinner featuring fresh seafood and fine wines from Colchagua Valley.

Day 8 – Return to Temuco & Departure

Free morning for shopping or short hikes.Transfer to Temuco Airport. End of the journey.
