Hike to High Camp
At 11 AM departure from Riobamba to Chimborazo Reserve. The car will drive all the way to 4800 m from where you will hike for about 2 - 3 hours to the high camp at 5300 m. Briefing and rest in the afternoon.

Summit Day
At around midnight we start the ascent to the summit. The slopes have an average steepness of 30 – 40 degrees, with some icy sections of 45 degrees. After 5 - 6 hours we reach the Veintimillia Summit (6227 m. / 20.429 ft.) With good snow conditions, sufficient time, and if you still have enough energy, you can continue for 45 minutes to the Whymper summit (6263 m. / 20.548 ft.) The descent will take 3 – 4 hours, from 4800 transfer back to Riobamba

Buenos guías; estaba necesario de pasar por cursos de aclimatación antes de subir al Cotopaxi; el Chimborazo Lodge es un museo del alpinismo/andinismo muy interesante y confortable, muy buena comida, muy buena gente (pero no tiene Wifi, habria que decirlo antes...). Los ultimos 500 m del Cotopaxi fueron muy duros, pero llegamos. Proxima vez : empezar más lentamente.... pero el clima en inicio de noviembre fue horrible casi toda la semana : lluvia, nieve y vientos....gracias para la buena organización.

Really great trip that were able to go on thanks to you! We were crusing in the Galapagos Archepelago for 5 days - 4 nights. My only wish was that I would have done a longer trip, like a week.

This has been such a wonderful trip, I only wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you to William and the rest of the crew, they were all very sweet and accommodating. Truly an incredible experience to see the Galapagos this way, hope to come back again someday.
