Day 1 - Arrival and Course Orientation

John Skelcher is an excellent tutor. Classically trained and patiently instructs in the finer techniques of water-colour painting which is my preference. His eye for colour in a subject is remarkable and his ability to make drawing and perspective less daunting is commendable.

The watercolour class with John was great fun as well as providing very useful tips and instructions on completing artworks eg creating a window, working on proportion, perspective and placement as well as watercolour techniques, colour mixing, choice of brush etc. Highly enjoyable and absorbing. Would definitely recommend.
