Arrival in Venice.
Landing in Venice airport – As with all of our Venice tours, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a smile and a wave by both your private driver and Alma Italia tour host. Your private driver will escort you to the edge of the famous Grand Canal where you will board a private boat to your hotel. This will be a truly stylish arrival!
There is so much to see and do that tours of Venice and the Veneto can be complicated but with our private Venice tours, you can relax knowing your Alma Italia host will take care of every little detail for you during your tailored Venice tour, ensuring you experience the very best of the soul of this magnificent part of Italy. We will end the day with a private Gondola ride to transport you through the peaceful canals to an early dinner at a family run traditional local restaurant. Here you’ll get a first taste of the delicious venetian regional cuisine before having a well deserved rest at your canal side hotel.

Venice walking tour
A qualified local guide will meet you after breakfast and take you for a walking tour of the historical centre.
Thank to your private guide you will learn everything about the history, architecture and facts of one of the most famous and romantic city of the world.
After the tour we will leave the rest of the day free of activities giving you the choise of how to spend your last hours here before moving to the next destination the following day.

Florence
It is time to leave Venice and move to your next destination, Florence.

After breakfast you will board on a high speed train and reach the Renaissance Capital in just over two hours.

At your arrival at the train station a private driver will pick you up and take you your accommodation.

For this day we will leave you the choice of what to do, simply let us know if you would like assistance from us in arranging any kind of activity and we will happily take care of it!

Private transfer to Pisa
Today we will arrange private transportation for you from your accommodation in Florence and vice-versa.
At your arrival in Pisa you will have 5 hours of free time for expolring the city and the Leaning tower before your ride will be ready for taking you back to Florence.

Florence walking tour and tickets Duomo Museum
After breakfast a qualfied local tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you for a private walking tour of the historical centre.
Thanks to your tour you will pass by all the major sites located in the historical area of Florence and learn everything about the history, architecture and facts.
For the afternoon you will be provided of ticktes for entering the Duomo museum, including the Giotto bell tower and the Baptistery.

Rome
On this day we will move from Florence to Rome.

After a ride on the fast train you will get in Rome before lunch.

Your private driver will take you to your new accommodaion where you can settle and get refreshed before heading to the center of Rome where your a local guide will lead you in a private tour of the Roman Forum and Colosseum.

After the tour enjoy some free time for exploring the historical center on your own before heading to dinner at one of our favorite restaurant of Rome.

A Divine appointment - The Vatican / Street food tour
Across the river lies the sovereign state of the Vatican City, the home of the Catholic Church and the residence of the Pope. Perhaps no Italy guided tours are complete without a guided tour of this spiritual sanctuary. Learn how spiritual authority turned into secular power while exploring the enthralling Vatican Museums and gaze upon the remarkable works that lie within them. From the incredible, hallowed ceiling of the Sistine Chapel to the renowned Renaissance stylings of Saint Peter’s Basilica, the Vatican City is an ode to Catholicism. This is sure to be a divine encounter!

After visiting the Vatican city and some free time we will organize for you a street food tour.
This is in our opinion one of the best ways for exploring the centre of Rome.
Your guide will lead you for a walk through the alleys of Rome passing by some of major sites while also hopping in and out from local stores tasting their fresh food and drinks.

From Rome to Sorrento
In the morning you will board on a high speed train which will take you to Naples in just over one hour.
At your arrival a private driver will be waiting for you and take you then at your boutique hotel located in Sorrento.
In the evening we will take care of your dinner at one of our favorite restaurant located in the hisotrical centre.

Capri, boat tour
After breakfast a private boat will be waiting for you at the local port for a fantastic boat tour to Capri.

During the navigation you will have the opportunity to stop at the famous blu and green grotto and if the water is warm enough you can enjoy a nice swim in the blue water of the mediterranean sea!.

Once in Capri you will have 4 hours of free time for exploring this paradise on your own.

Your boat will be waiting for you at the Marina and then will take you back at the starting point.

Pompeii
Pompeii is in our opinion one of the most unique and interesting sites of Italy, perhaps of the entire World.

Pompeii, thousands of years old but incredibly well preserved thanks to the tragic eruption of the Mt. Vesuvious, occourred in 79 B.C.

Enjoy a private tour of the archaelogical park with one of our qualified local guides.

After the tour the day will continue with a fantastic lunch with wine tasting in a local winery located at the bottom of Mt. Vesuvius.

After spending a few hours in this splendind property, your driver will take you back at your accommodation and the rest of the day will be free of activities giving you the time for packing and getting ready for your flight back home the next day.

It’s finally time to wave a tearful goodbye at Naples airport. After the last delicious breakfast of your Amalfi coast trip your driver will take you safely to the airport. Tim and Alessio were amazing! Our family had a wonderful time in Rome, Sorrento, Capri and the Amalfi coast! The trip was seamless; planes, trains, and automobiles miraculously showed up on time, depart on time and were very reliable. Their expert knowledge of the Italian experience was spot on. They picked the best tour groups for us, and there was never a dull moment! They Curated the perfect balance between activity and leisure! Accommodations they chose were comfortable with some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. There was only one mild hiccup during our whole trip and Alessio took care of it immediately in real time! Amazing! I can’t wait to book my next trip with Alta Italia!!

Our first trip to Italy was nothing short of amazing thanks to Alessio and Alma Italia! Alessio was incredibly professional even when we missed our flights and had to change our itinerary.
