Day 1 — Into the Wild

6:00 AM — Depart from Drake Bay for a 1-hour 15-minute boat ride to Sirena Ranger Station, traveling along the spectacular coastline of the Osa Peninsula.

7:15 AM — Arrive at Sirena, leave your overnight bags and equipment at the ranger station, and set off on your first 3 to 4-hour hike through the rainforest.

11:30 AM — Return to the ranger station for lunch and a well-deserved break.

2:30 PM — Head back into the rainforest for a 2 to 3-hour afternoon hike toward Río Claro, where, conditions permitting, you can enjoy a refreshing swim before hiking back to Sirena.

5:30 PM — Dinner at the ranger station, followed by some well-earned rest. Lights out at 8:00 PM. 🌙

Day 2 — Wake Up with the Jungle

4:30 AM — Rise early for a morning wildlife hike, when the rainforest begins to wake up and wildlife activity is often at its most active.

6:30 AM — Return to the ranger station for breakfast, then head out for another 3-hour hike through the rainforest.

10:30 AM — Return to Sirena, collect your belongings and prepare for departure after the lunch.

12:00 PM — Board the boat for the journey back to Drake Bay, taking in the spectacular coastline one last time.

Two days, one night, countless wildlife encounters, and a true immersion in the wild heart of Corcovado. 🌿🐒

The itinerary below is a general example of how the two-day experience may unfold. Exact times and activities may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, trail conditions, wildlife activity, and the pace and needs of the group.

Our guides may adjust the schedule when necessary to ensure the best possible experience while keeping everyone safe and comfortable.

What to Bring

Please come prepared with:

• Comfortable, lightweight clothing for 2 days

• Hiking shoes or sturdy closed-toe shoes

• Water shoes

• Toothbrush and toothpaste

• Rain gear or a waterproof jacket

• Insect repellent

• Sunscreen

• Swimming suit

• Towel

• A photo of your passport on your phone

• Reusable water bottle with enough water for the hike

What Not to Bring

For the protection of Corcovado National Park and its wildlife, the following items are not allowed:

• Food

• Single-use plastic bottles ⚠️ Please bring water in a reusable bottle.

• Knives or other sharp objects

• Cigarettes or electronic cigarettes

• Lighters or matches

• Drugs

• Alcohol

• Drones
