The shuttle will leave the hotel at 8 am with all participants - it's about a 3 hour drive to our gorgeous sanctuary. Upon arrival, everyone will check in and receive a tour of the retreat, as well as access to their assigned tents. We will then have a light, nutritious lunch, and gather together for our opening talking circle. We'll get to know each other, discuss the format of the retreat, meet our Maestro, and connect with the land, asking for permission to do our sacred work. That evening, the first Ayahuasca ceremony will commence. 

After some much deserved rest, participants will be invited to experience a profoundly cleaning and empowering Sacred Cleanse. This ceremony involves the consumption of jungle tobacco (Mapacho) tea (Dragon's Blood and Lemongrass also available!); this typically invokes a deep purge that literally cleans our cells from the inside out. Our Maestro leads these experiences with exuberance, protection, and joy. Once complete, the crew will enjoy a hearty, delicious lunch, and have the afternoon to rest and recover. In the evening, we will gather for an integration circle, and lay our intentions for the rest of the week. After dinner, we will celebrate with a fire ceremony.

The leisurely morning will consist of breakfast, nature walks, and connects with one another. Later in the day, we will meet as a group and prepare for our second Ayahuasca ceremony. Every participant will have the chance to connect personally with the shaman, sharing their questions and intentions for the next ceremony, and the remainder of the retreat.

After morning flower baths, those that wish to partake in a second Sacred Cleanse (choice of 3 plants) will be invited to do so in the early morning hours, led by our indigenous Maestro. After a healthy meal, the entire group will gather for our second integration circle, giving voice to the magic and healing that has been occurring. Everyone will have ample time to rest, enjoy the natural surroundings, and eat lots of luscious food. 

During the day we will offer a final Sacred Cleanse ceremony to anyone who is called, followed by a healthy lunch, and then we will gather as a group again to discuss the last ceremony. This adventure will be once again led by our indigenous Maestro. This deep dive with Mama Medicine will be especially intimate and profound.

After a cleansing flower bath and yummy breakfast, half the group will take part in a traditional Temezcal Ceremony, and the other half will embark on a beautiful walk to a nearby waterfall (and yes, you can go swimming in the pristine waters!) Lunch will be served after, and then an integration circle in the afternoon. After dinner, a fire ceremony and social group celebration awaits.

On our last day as a familia, those who participated in the waterfall walk will join the Temezcal ceremony, and vice versa. 3 nourishing meals will be offered throughout the day, and we will meet as a group to lay prayers for our return back to our lives. A final fire ceremony will be enjoyed by all after a delicious celebratory meal that will include salt and maybe even a little spice! We will honor all the hard work and healing we all experienced and prepare to return to the world.

After a final breakfast and a chance to honor the incredible retreat staff, we will hop on a shuttle back to the San Jose airport. We encourage everyone to book flights home no earlier than 230 pm local time to ensure plenty of time to make our flights.
