This was my first live-aboard. It was a wonderful experience. All the planning done by YAY Scuba helped inform my planning, including having the right clothes and equipment for in and out of the water. The vessel crew made life easy with well planned dives and great food. The vessel's accommodations were a bit spartan, but with 5 dives a day, there wasn't much time in cabin or on the deck. Due to weather, we dove more times on the same sites than would be normally expected, but I found that the conditions changed so much on each dive that there was always something new to see. The wildlife was incredible, including Green and Hawksbill sea turtles, Nurse and Caribbean Reef sharks, Octopi, and schools of jewel colored fish. It was a great way to reconnect with friends and meet new friends. Overall, I would not hesitate to do a live-aboard again. I would upgrade the vessel experience on the next live-aboard to a cabin with more elbow room and head room.

Had a great time diving with the YAY Scuba group. Very commendable of what Thor is doing to help our community. Looking forward to diving with them more often.

We had a fantastic group! We saw a lot of sharks on all of our dives and it was very well organized by YAY! This team, with different divers each trip, never disappoints with making everyone feel included. Great communication throughout the trip as well. Love the NC diving!

Absolute best trip, laughed so hard. Sand tigers, wrecks were fantastic. Thank you Thor for a great trip.

Iceland was my second trip with Thor and YayScuba. This was a hiking trip so a bit of a change of pace but Thor’s planning made this a great trip. Maybe the best thing about YayScuba trips is that all you have to do is show up and all of the logistics are taken care of. It makes travel so easy! It was also special to see Thor’s homeland and to get the local flavor only an Icelander can provide. I already have another trip booked because I know YayScuba trips will be good!
