This was my first dive trip, but it was an amazing experience. Thor & YAY Scuba surpassed my expectations for this trip. Thor is an excellent instructor, & I received my open water certification. His instruction allowed me to quickly become comfortable on the dives. My diving experience is hard to put into words, but I will remember it forever & can't wait for my next open water dives. The resort & resort staff were great. The dive shop at the resort & its staff were awesome. Our dive masters & boat captain were friendly, helpful, & clearly explained the dives. For my first dive trip, I saw tons of aquatic life, we dove on a couple of wrecks, we did a night dive, we did a swim through dive, & I was certified to hunt lionfish & hunted them on a couple of dives. I couldn't be happier with Thor & YAY Scuba & highly recommend them for any level diver.

I have taken multiple diving trips with Thor and YAY Scuba. The trips continue to more than exceed my expectations. This trip was no exception. What a great group of people. Friendly, fun, and interesting. Everyone brings different diving levels and experiences. If you're new to diving there is no judgement; only people willing to help you enjoy your trip and boost your confidence. The accommodations were comfortable and relaxing. The dive shop was very professional. The dive masters made each dive interesting, safe, and fun. These trips are also a great way to complete your open water certification, or achieve more advanced certifications as well. And as is always the case, there are no expectations on Thor's trips. You do as much or as little as you want.

Wonderful trip. Loved the accommodations and the diving was incredible. Super intentional with the pick of the resort and that made the trip so special. We were close to everything going on in town but off the beaten path which allowed for full calm quiet relaxation when on land. Having the dove shop on site also made prep for the dives so easy and fun. One of the best trips I’ve ever been on and I LOVED every minute. I would travel back here and for sure with this incredible company. Wonderful all around.

This was a fun trip! Water conditions were great with good clarity, warm temperatures, and mild/no currents. The fish, turtles, eagle rays, sharks, and octopus were beautiful. Multiple, back to back swim throughs and the very close island wall were unique features. The resort was nice with comfortable rooms, clean grounds, ocean view, and a nice pool to gather around to plan dinner. Breakfast and Lunch meals at the resort restaurant were a bit skimpy, but plenty of very nice options in town for good coffee and meals. West End restaurants and shops were in walking distance. Our group was large and the resort dive shop was a bit disorganized at first, but got their act together by the second day. Boats were well appointed and the local Dive Masters/Guides were very helpful. The dive shops in town were well stocked for the little things like replacement fin straps. Yay Scuba does a great job organizing trips which is evidenced by the repeat divers. So fun to dive with folks you know and to meet new friends that you will likely dive with in the future.
