Breakfast 7:00 am. At 8:00 am we will take our paddle canoes and head to our Caimancocha trail. We will hike in the primary forest for approximately 3 hours. 

On this trail our guide will explain about the ecology of the Amazon rainforest, its medicinal plants, the diversity of animals and interactions of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth. At 1:30 pm, we will return to our lodge.

Lunch 

We will take a rest in the hammocks or rooms. At 4:30 pm we will take a tour in our catamaran, with ease to relax and observe animals. We will swim and watch the fantastic sunset. At 7:30 pm we will enjoy dinner.

Then, we will have a night walk, for about an hour to see arachnids, amphibians and hopefully nocturnal reptiles.

  At 6:00 am we will meet at our meeting point. We will head to our Great Cayman Bird Tower, to see a variety of birds and the beautiful sunrise, accompanied by a delicious coffee.

8:00 am. Breakfast

At 9:00 am we will depart down river to the Siona Community of Puerto Bolivar in a journey of approximately 1:30 hour and there we will be greeted by one of the native women who will take us to the cassava plantation to harvest cassava. With our help they will show us the preparation of one of their traditional foods, 

casabe (cassava flat bread). Immediately after this, the guide will introduce you to one of the last 4 Shamans of the Siona tribe in Ecuador and one of them will explain his cosmovision directly related to the Ayahuasca drink. A part of the energetic cleansing ritual will take place with their chants that come from a millenary oral tradition from Shaman to apprentice. 

We will take a brief tour around this place in search of snakes, and more animals that we can find. In addition, we will find one of the largest trees in Ecuador: The Ceibo, where we can take pictures and hug this tree to have many good energies.

Lunch

We will return to the lodge in the afternoon and go for a swim at sunset at the Laguna Grande and return to the lodge for dinner to relax in a hammock or have a beer at the bar.

4:00pm Return to Caiman.

5:00pm, we will take a tour in the Laguna Grande, and we will see more animals that the jungle offers us. Swim and watch the sunset.

7:30 pm dinner. Night activity depending on the weather

 Breakfast 8:00 am. We will provide the full day equipment (hammocks, ponchos, boots) to each one of you. We will go paddle canoeing to know another fantastic lagoon "La Laguna Cananbueno". We will have the opportunity to see many animals and the exuberant nature of the area.

We will continue and go for a hike in the primary forest for approximately 3 hours. On each hike there is always the possibility to see new animals and to 

receive detailed information from our guide about the flora and fauna of the jungle.

We will take a rest in hammocks in the middle of the jungle. Then we will return and take our last tour in the Laguna Grande to swim and watch the wonderful sunset and then we will go to the lodge. At 7:30 pm we will enjoy a special dinner with our guide, where we will share our experiences in the jungle with a farewell cocktail.

At 5:30 am we will take a tour to observe the sunrise and a variety of birds. At 8:00 am we will have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for the return at 9:30 am to the Cuyabeno Bridge where we will have a Box Lunch and then you will be picked up by our private bus that will take you to Lago Agrio so you can return to Quito either by bus or plane.
