What to bring: You must bring comfortable and light clothes. Long and short sleeve shirts and pants. Sun protection is also a must. Please bring rain clothes and insect repellent. It is also recommended to bring a flashlight (for night walks), camera and binoculars. 

ITINERARY: Itinerary may vary depending on any reason such as security, area policies, operation of the lodge, climate, etc.
TIPS: Tips are not included and recommended to help improve the quality of our

CLIMATE: The Amazon basin is warm and wet, with frequent rain. Dry season is from 

October to March, and temperature goes from 19 ° C a 36 ° C throughout the year. 

HEALTH: Vaccines are not necessary although it is recommended to talk to your doctor prior to your amazon travel. We have at the lodge all the important and necessary equipment for its best functionality and safety of our clients, but still it is the client’s own responsibility to count with a travel insurance.

Morning: Drive from Lago Agrio to El Puente. 

Afternoon: canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River to your selected lodge. Brief about your trip with your guide. Lunch and relax at your room. Then we go for a nice jungle walk looking to all the incredible wildlife. 

Night: Dinner and exiting night walk.

Cuyabeno River and lagoon.
Morning: three hour hike in the primary forest to learn about the incredible flora and fauna of this incredible spot of the Amazon jungle.  Learn to the use local plants for survival and for medicine. Lunch at your Lodge and enjoy a siesta time. 

Afternoon: Chocolate activity, homemade chocolate from cocoa beans. 

Late afternoon: Relax with an incredible sunset at "Laguna Grande" (Big Lagoon) with a chance for some refreshing swimming in the middle of the lagoon. At night we take our canoes and go caiman (alligator) searching.

Cuyabeno River + Siona Community
Morning: After breakfast, we go for an hour and a half down the river on our canoe boat to a Siona indigenous community to interact and learn about their traditions and customs by making some local food. After, we visit a local shaman (Chamán) to learn about his secrets and ancestral knowledge of shamanism. 

At night: Dinner and then we go for an incredible night walk with our guide looking to amazing night creatures. Take your flashlight to spot them all! Enjoy the espectacular sounds of pure nature.

Early morning: Bird watching from a 25 meter high tower. 

Breakfast and then we start our return journey up Cuyabeno River to El Puente. 

From here we take a bus back  to Lago Agrio (arrive in Lago Agrio in the afternoon around 14h00).
