Identity, Elegance & the Echoes of History

Lagos tells its story in style.and today, you walk its corridors with intention. Our journey begins at Onikan House, an architectural landmark that holds echoes of colonial resistance, Yoruba pride, and cultural evolution. As you move through this historic space, you’ll feel history not as a textbook—but as a mirror. This is where lineage meets location.

Next, we enter the National Museum, where ancestral craftsmanship and sacred objects hold memory in their form. This is not just a gallery—it is a ceremony of presence. You’ll explore artifacts that bridge centuries, continents, and identities, connecting the African Diaspora to the heartbeat of West Africa.

In the afternoon, we add a fashion-forward twist: time to explore a curated collection of tailor ateliers and textile enclaves, where you can engage local designers, select premium Ankara, or commission a custom piece to wear later in the week. This is cultural reclamation through couture—a quiet but powerful statement: I am home, and I’m dressed accordingly.

The evening ends at Yellow Chilli, where culinary storytelling takes center stage. Enjoy an elevated Nigerian dining experience that fuses tradition and creativity—just like you.

The Return

A Day of Remembrance and Royal Resilience. Embark on a profound journey in Badagry, a symbolic pilgrimage for the African diaspora returning to Nigeria, retracing the steps of their ancestors. Led by the esteemed Queen of Northern Ghana, this day unfolds as a scholarly exploration of history and resilience.

Today is sacred. Badagry, a coastal town heavy with memory. Stand at the Slave Point of No Return, trace the footsteps of stolen ancestors, and absorb the gravity of history at the slave museum and market site. Then, step into ceremony with a royal audience hosted by the King of Badagry, facilitated by Queen Zosimli Naa. This is not a tour. It is a rite.

Begin by immersing yourself in the poignant narrative of the Slave Point of No Return, a somber yet essential site that bears witness to the harrowing legacy of the transatlantic slave trade. Allow the echoes of the past to resonate within you as you pay homage to those who faced unimaginable challenges.

Continue your intellectual odyssey at the Museum and Slave Market, where artifacts and stories converge, providing a comprehensive understanding of the historical tapestry that binds Africa and its diaspora. Through the lens of a modern African scholar, dissect the complexities of the past, recognizing both the pain and the strength that emanate from these historical artifacts.

The day reaches its zenith with a royal visit, a symbolic gesture led by the Queen Zosimli Naa, paying homage to the enduring resilience of those who traversed the treacherous path of the transatlantic slave trade. This meeting with the King of Badagry becomes a moment where history converges with the present, and the resilience of a people is acknowledged and celebrated.

In this scholarly expedition, let the interplay of remembrance and royal recognition serve as a bridge between the past and the present, fostering a profound connection for the African diaspora returning to their ancestral roots.
