A deep dive into your yoga practice, slow mornings, southern Italian culture & yourself.
This isn't a juice cleanse, weight loss, fast AI productivity, or find your best self retreat vibe. Instead, it's the kind of dreamy week where you have space to lie on the beach, eat homemade pasta made by Italian nana's, and move your body in a way that feels nourishing.

This women's retreat was designed by Sydney and Marta to support you while you fully dive in. Sydney is from Wisconsin, USA and is a passionate yoga teacher of 8 years. Marta is an Italy native with extensive experience in coordinating travel and experiences all over the country.
We'll be staying at the beautiful Masseria Specula in Puglia, Italy. Where the setting is rustic-luxury, authentic Puglian. Just fly into Brindisi Airport (BDS) and we'll handle the rest.
Each day, there's time to walk down to the sea to swim and play mermaids, take naps, spend a few hours every morning practicing yoga asana, and sipping delicious wine in the evenings.
Some of our favorite highlights of this retreat include:
Pasta Making Class
Long 90 - 115 minute Vinyasa practices every morning
Nourishing spreads of homemade Italian dishes by the chefs on site
Walking to the Ionian Sea is (15 minute walk)

Which airport should I fly into?
Brindisi Airport (BDS) - We'll arrange a shuttle to transport you to the retreat center. Just arrive to the Brindisi airport on September 6th for pickup at 2pm.
How does the shuttle work?
Our complimentary group shuttle from Brindisi Airport (BDS) to the Masseria will depart at 2:00 PM on arrival day.
The drive to the Masseria takes approximately one hour, with check-in beginning at 3:00 PM.
Please plan your travel accordingly and be ready for pickup at Brindisi Airport by 2:00 PM so we can depart together as a group.
Want to arrive a little earlier?
We highly recommend considering arriving in Brindisi at least one day before the retreat. This gives you a chance to ease into Italy, enjoy a night in Brindisi, and avoid the stress of coordinating your flight around the group shuttle. On retreat day, simply make your way back to Brindisi Airport in time for the 2:00 PM group pickup.
If your flight is delayed or arrives after 2:00 PM, don't worry! We can help arrange an individual transfer from the airport to the Masseria. Please note that late-arrival transportation will be at an additional cost and will need to be arranged in advance.
Our recommendation: Arrive a day early, sleep off the jet lag, enjoy a little Brindisi magic, and meet us at the airport at 2:00 PM on September 6th for the start of our journey to the Masseria.
Sydney and Marta will reach out prior to the retreat to check in and gather your flight information.
What will the food be like?
All meals will feature authentic Apulian dishes, including vegetables, fish, and meat.
From Masseria Specula's website, which describes it best:
"We have a kitchen team like no other, which is made of grandmas in their 60s. They have not gone to hotel school, nor had previous jobs, but they learned to cook over a lifetime of being in their home kitchens, from the recipes their mothers taught them. Their recipes bring the authentic flavours of Puglia to life. We are proud to share their stories and their meals, with every retreat group that joins us around the table."
Check in: September 6th at 3:00pm
Check out: September 11th at 10:00am
On the check-out day, we’ll have breakfast instead of brunch, as we’ll need to leave the rooms by 10 AM, but we can stay and enjoy the common areas until noon at the latest. We'll arrange a shuttle for you back to the Brindisi Airport.
What kind of electrical adapter will I need?
Italian Outlets: Italy uses Type C (two round pins) and Type L (three round pins in a straight line). Many modern places also have Type F (Schuko) outlets. You need a simple physical US-to-Italy adapter or a Universal Travel Adapter.
Is there wifi?
Yes.
What are the rooms like?
Each room has WiFi, linens, towels, shampoo, body wash, AC/heating, and comfortable beds. You'll have the option to chose the price range and lodging that works for you. We have a mix of private rooms and shared lodging.
Is there AC?
Yes. Each bedroom has AC/heating if needed.
What should I pack?
Think light, comfortable, and whatever feels most like yourself. Bring your yoga clothes, swimsuit, sunscreen, comfortable walking shoes, a light layer for cooler mornings or evenings, a reusable water bottle, and anything you like to make your yoga practice feel good. We'll send you a more detailed packing list as the retreat approaches.
Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
No - we will have all yoga mats and props here for you.
What is the weather like in Puglia in September?
September is a beautiful time to visit Puglia, with warm days, plenty of sunshine, and generally cooler evenings than the height of summer. We’ll spend lots of time outdoors, so come prepared for sunshine and warm weather while bringing a light layer for mornings and evenings.
Will I have free time?
100%! This Deep Dive retreat isn't about filling every minute of your day. There will be plenty of space to slow down, swim, explore, read, nap, enjoy long meals, journal, or simply do nothing. You're encouraged to listen to what feels best for you, all classes and offerings are optional.
What level of yoga experience do I need?
Deep Dive is open to all levels of experience of yoga practitioners. You don't need to be an advanced practitioner to join us. Classes will offer options, advancements, and modifications so you can meet yourself exactly where you are. Although some yoga asana and meditation experience would be a nice way to prepare.
What if I've never been on a yoga retreat before?
You're in the right place. Whether this is your first retreat or you're a seasoned retreat-goer, you don't need to arrive knowing anyone or knowing exactly what to expect. You'll be supported by 2 experienced retreat hosts in a welcoming environment.
Will I have to participate in every activity?
Nope. Everything is an invitation, never an obligation. If you'd rather sleep in, skip a yoga class, spend the afternoon by sea or have some solo time, you're encouraged to listen to what you need.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many guests come to retreats on their own. Deep Dive is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people while still having plenty of space for yourself.
Can I come with my partner or a friend?
Yes! We have a variety of shared room options that are perfect for friends or partners traveling together.
What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Please let us know about any allergies, dietary restrictions, or food preferences when you register. Our kitchen team will do their best to accommodate your needs. We cannot guarantee no allergen crossovers in the kitchen.
What currency should I bring?
Italy uses the euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, but we recommend carrying a small amount of euros for small purchases, markets, cafés, tips, or places that may not accept cards.
Will I need cash?
It’s a good idea to have some euros with you, although most larger purchases and many restaurants and shops accept cards.
Do I need a passport or visa?
U.S. citizens traveling to Italy for tourism generally do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure.
