Welcome to the Water Polo Shooting Clinic taught by Gold Medalist Denes Varga!

Denes Varga is one of the greatest water polo players of all time and has won numerous championships, including a gold medal in the 2013 World Championships and the 2008 Beijing Olympics & Champions League. In this clinic, he will be sharing his knowledge and experience with you to help you improve your water polo shooting skills.

Denes is the current captain of the Hungarian National Team and plays for FTC-Telekom. Champions League ends on June 4th and he has 1 week off before Hungarian National Team training starts for the 2023 World Championships in Japan. He is spending his week off teaching you how to shoot.

The shooting clinic will focus on the following topics:

4. Breaking the Press to Score: In a game, there will be times when you will have to shoot under pressure. Denes will share his tips and strategies for breaking the press..
5. Scoring drills: To improve your shooting skills, you need to practice scoring drills. Denes will lead you through a series of drills that will help you improve your accuracy, power, and shot selection.
