Frida Kahlo Museum and the Artist & Makers tour in Coyoacán

We’ll start our day with a private, guided tour exploring the Frida Kahlo Museum, known as La Casa Azul. As you walk through the colorful blue walls of Frida's home, you’ll learn about her fascinating life—the triumphs, struggles, and the profound influence of her Mexican heritage that shaped her art. The museum showcases her iconic paintings, personal belongings, and even the beautiful garden she tended to, reflecting her passion for nature and creativity. This tour is a must do while visiting Mexico City.


After immersing yourself in Frida’s captivating story, it’s time to venture into the charming Coyoacán neighborhood.


This cute neighborhood is worth at least a day of your time to fully explore. Whether you’re a fan of Frida Kahlo, art in general, or even just bustling plazas, these quirky, artistic barrios are an essential visit. This bohemian area is filled with cobblestone streets, lively plazas, and a rich cultural history. As you stroll through the neighborhood, you'll discover quaint cafes, local artisan shops, and vibrant markets that pulse with the spirit of Mexico. Coyoacán offers a perfect blend of history, art, and local flavor, making it a delightful complement to your journey through Frida Kahlo's life.


As we explore Coyoacán, we'll discover its vibrant pottery and ceramics that highlight Mexico's artistic heritage. We’ll visit local artisanal shops featuring colorful Talavera tiles and beautifully crafted pottery. In the markets, we can meet vendors creating their crafts, giving us insight into their skills. Additionally, we’ll stop by galleries featuring works from local artists inspired by Frida Kahlo. This journey will offer us a rich view of Coyoacán’s creative landscape.


After our tour, we can head over to the Mercado de Coyoacán for some authentic lunch and a stroll through the market.

Roma Art & Galleries tour

We’ll begin our art tour in the heart of Roma, a neighborhood renowned for its vibrant culture and artistic flair. After a brief introduction, we'll set off to explore the charming streets adorned with stunning murals and unique architecture.

Today’s art tour explores carefully selected galleries showcasing local artists, providing opportunities to meet curators who share insights about the exhibitions and creative processes. As you wander the streets, striking street art adds a dynamic element to the neighborhood's aesthetic. Along the way, indulge in taco tasting at some of the best local spots, savoring delicious flavors while learning about traditional ingredients and techniques. 

                   

After our tour, the excitement continues as we head to the vibrant Día de los Muertos Parade. This enchanting celebration brings together local communities and visitors alike to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away. As we make our way to the parade, we’ll be greeted by colorful altars adorned with flowers, candles, and photographs, setting the stage for the festivities. The streets will come alive with joyous music, dancing, and dazzling costumes, reflecting the rich cultural traditions of Mexico. This will be a day to remember!

Condesa Galleries tour

After breakfast, we’ll meet our guide for a walk through the picturesque Condesa neighborhood. We'll visit an array of stylish boutiques and explore contemporary design-forward concept stores. 


One of the highlights will be a stop at the studio of Carla Fernández, a renowned Mexican textile designer dedicated to handmade craftsmanship, sustainability, and the principles of fashion resistance. During our visit, Carla will discuss the significance of textiles in preserving folk art within Mexican culture, and we'll have the opportunity to shop in her exclusive showroom.


Dinner at leisure (on own) at Máximo, an upscale French-Mexican restaurant in Mexico City. The restaurant is known for its farm-to-table concept, using seasonal Mexican ingredients in French-inspired dishes. The restaurant, founded by chef Eduardo García and restaurateur Gabriela López, emphasizes local sourcing and has received accolades for its business model and cuisine.

Fashion, Design & Concept Stores in Polanco, Wine Tasting

We’ll kick off our morning by exploring the upscale Polanco neighborhood, one of Mexico City’s most prestigious and fashionable areas. Known for its tree-lined streets and beautiful architecture, Polanco is a hub of luxury and style. As we stroll through the neighborhood, we'll have the opportunity to browse a range of high-end boutiques featuring renowned international brands, as well as talented local designers showcasing their unique creations. 


Along the way, we'll also discover chic concept stores that blend fashion with art and lifestyle, offering a curated selection of elegant home goods, fashion accessories, and innovative design pieces. The ambiance of Polanco, with its vibrant art installations and modern cafés, makes it a delightful place to shop and soak in the local culture.


This afternoon, we’ll indulge in a private wine tasting experience, complete with light bites. Savor the flavors of Mexico as we sample three different wines—red, white, and sparkling—paired with a selection of cheese and charcuterie.


Afterward, we’ll return to our hotels to freshen up before heading out for rooftop cocktails (on own). The evening will culminate in a memorable group dinner at the acclaimed Michelin-star restaurant, Pujol, where we'll enjoy an exquisite dining experience that showcases the best of Mexican cuisine (dinner included).
